First Lights (Christmas)

Time lapis (lapse)

Still lapis:

We got to the lights. Well, somewhat. From what Pearl said, it would still take about an hour. "So, who's up for some car games?" I ask. "Okay, what game?" Amethyst ask, sitting up a little more. "I was kinda hoping one of you giys had an idea?" I laughed awkwardly. "Okay.... okay Lapis, truth or dare?" Wow, what a good idea. "Um... dare?" I said, not knowing what she would say. I immediatly regretted it, seeing her a smile on her face. She signled me to come closer. "I dare you to hold Peridot's hand for as long as she lets you, but wait a minute, she'll know its the dare." I leaned back swallowing hard. I wish i hadnt had that moment with Peri. Then i think back to her eyes, a beautiful green i loved staring into. "What was the dare?" Peri whispered in my ear. "She couldnt come up with one. Im off the hook" i joked, hearing her quietly laugh. "Pearl, your turn." Amethyst smiled, looking at her. "Uh... i dont know...." she muttered, choosing somone random. The game went on like this for a while.

Peridot:

I was sitting there listening to the game go on when lapis suddenly grabbed my hand. I blushed, of course, and looked outside. As i looked at the front i saw Amethyst. I think she noticed, but if she did she showed no sign. She was just very interested in her phone. Lapis suddenly entwined her fingers with mine, making my heart flutter. "Peridot, truth or dare?" Amethyst said turning to me, noticing my blush. Whatever i chose, it would be about me and lapis. "Truth" i grunted, figuring it would be the better decision of the two. "Okay, who in this car do you think is the hottest?" She pryed, smiling. "Uhhh..... do i have to answer this one?" I blushed. "Yes" Pearl said, turning away from the wheel grinning. "Okay fine" i laughed. "In my honest opinion, that would have to be lapis. But like i said, that's just my opinion" i said blushing. Lapis sqeezed my hand, making my heart pound.

Time lapse (yet again)

Lapis:
I look around at all the light illistrations around us, listening to Pearl and Amethyst sing 12 days of christmas in perfect harmony, sounding delightful. I look at the lights around us as each of the days are animated by those glimmering lights. I look over to see Amethyst has the timer laying in her lap. I dont bother to see how long it's been because i could care less. I look at Peri and see she has a bright smile on her face. I look down at her and she quickly looks away at the lights, but before she did i mannaged to see a a blush on her cheeks. I look back at the lights infront of us and see Pearl holding Amethyst's hand while she steers with the other. I look up again at the lights and see the dinosaurs. The first is a pteridactal. "Hey, its a PERIdactyl" i joke, hoping she found it funny. She sure did. She looked at me laughing, not even hiding her blush anymore. Amethyst looked back smiling. "Coulnt have said it better myself." She laughed, quickly checking that we were still holding hands. She suddenly froze, staring at the back seats. I looked in the rearview mirror to see Ruby and Saphire in the back kissing. I gave Amethyst a warning glance. She took the hint and turned back around.

Peridot: im sitting here with lazuli, closly noticing each and every reaction she makes to the lights. We're at the dinosaurs and I'm just staring at them. They suddenly seem a lot more interesting now that im here with lapis, hand in hand as Pearl slowly drives the car. We slowly pass the pterodactyl when lapis suddenly says, "hey, it's a PERIdactal!" Making me blush. I look into her eyes when Amethyst laughs, commenting on lapis's joke. I look at Amethyst, but her gaze isnt on us anymore, its on Ruby and Saphire in the back. I turn to see whats going on. I almost immediatly turn around. I have a feeling i should not have seen that. Amethyst turns back to her seat,but not before whispering to Pearl. Pearl barely turns to the back, starting to blush

Im not sure how much of you will actually like this, but im trying to update more often.
