Wolf Regalia // Noragami //

Yato's P.O.V

It was pitch black ,you could see nothing but the full moon in the night sky.We were lead to a cliff when I had sensed something strange lurking around the area we're currently battling a monster with strength like crazy .

One false move and the giant blue toad could send us off the edge. In the state were in , we won't make that fall either .

Yukine and I had taken quite the beating , and I knew that any moment now , we could die if I didn't do something fast.

"Yukine , are you alright!" I said to my regalia in his sword form

"Y-yeah" - Yukine

"Just hang in there a little longer , I'll think of something!"

I hit the monster as hard as I could
And yukines sword started to crack.

"Aaarrrrgggghhh" he let out a dreadful scream

"Yukine , if I keep using you , your gonna break and die !"

" if you stop using me, we're both gonna die !"-Yukine

Daam it , I need to think of something quick!.As I was about to try an attack the monster again , I seen a white fur ball by the street light .

I have no choice , If I want yuki to live , I'm gonna need to get another regalia .

"Yukine , stay hidden and rest up"

I threw The sword to the side and he transformed back into his human form

"What are you doing ! Your gonna get us killed !!" -Yukine

"I'm getting another regalia "

I said the holy words and connected with my soon to be regalia ,A Female, around yukines age,at that age it would be difficult ,but it seems this young lady is mature so it shouldn't cause much of a problem .

During the contract making , I saw visions of my soon to be regalias human death.

What I was seeing was surreal .

"Help..someone help me ...please .."

I could hear her voice desperately screaming for someone to rescue her.

Then the visions disappeared.

"What a tragic way to die" I shed a tear as to what I was vividly seeing.

"Come forth , my regalia! I grant you two names , As human, Hatsune , and As regalia, Otoki "

I say As a bright light shined , my new regalia was now shown . It was a Wolf .

"THATS YOUR NEW REGALIA! Are you serious , this is the best you could get !" - Yukine shouted

"It's a .... Wolf ?"

"Yes but ITS TINY!, it's the size of your Hand ! And probably weak"- Yukine

Then it hit me .

"YEEEAAAHHHH!!!! Yukine I got a wolf ! It's an animal ! We hit the jackpot !" I happily shouted

"Are you blind ! It's tiny ! Its not gonna be any better then me as broken blade !"-Yukine

"How dare you speak like that about this rare fine,and IT is not an IT,IT is a girl." I say hugging the white and black wolf regalia.

"Aren't you just a cutie " she licks me as I'm rubbing my cheek against hers

She was small, about up to my ankle. Her fur was black and white ,except the lining on her forehead,that was a blue type of colour.

"What's so rare about that " - Yukine

"Yuki , you remember beshamon, and how she rides that lion of hers , yes well wolfie here is just like him , animal regalias are rare to find" I'm happily saying

"Nows not the time to talk yous too !" -Hiyori

"When did you get here ?"

"Just now" - Hiyori

Almost forgetting about the monster ,I quickly dodged its attack, but fell to the ground

"Come on little guy,I ahh mean girl ,now would be a good time to do something  " I nervously say.

With that, she gets out of my arms and stands in between me and the monster , she opens her mouth and a white light starts forming but when she went to release it, nothing happened.

Everyone's mouths hang open.

"Nothing happened! We're dead !" -Yukine says face planting the ground

But the tiny wolf still stood in front of the monster and tried again . This time the light was bigger, and when she released it , a small ball went shooting at the monster, for a second, nothing happened, but then, a huge beam of light appeared piercing through the monster, destroying it and the tree behind it . The blow was so strong, we all felt the impact.

"Okay,I was wrong , that tiny thing is pretty powerful " -Yukine says on lying on the ground.

"I'd say" - Hiyori says next to Yukine

The tiny wolf had fallen on my stomach with spirals circulating its eyes.

"I guess that beam was so strong even you couldn't handle it , huh little buddy" I say "that was great,you did well"

Honestly I was impressed,stunned mostly , I pat her head letting her know I was proud .

Another bright light appeared but this time it was in the wolf , then in front of us , was a girl in a white robe .

She has really long brown hair with a streak of white , fair skin , and bright ocean blue eyes . She also has a chain like bracelet on her hand which is adorably cute .

"I feel .... weird. Who exactly am I ?"
Confusion is plastered on her face

"From now on , your name
Is Hatsune as human, or informally Hatsu just for short ,and for  your shinki name you'll be known as Otoki "

"Wait I'm confused " - Hatsune

I was about to talk but Hiyori went first

"Wow ! Your a wolf ! I've never seen a wolf before" - Hiyori says as she kept talking away not giving me a chance to say anything,

"I guess I'll explain things later , Hiyori , do you mind taking her back to yours" I rudely interrupted her,

"My pleasure !!"Hiyori

"I'm going too" Yukine

First chapter redone :) if you don't already know , I've written this chapter before but sadly never went back to write more .

But I've decided to start continuing with this story and see where it goes :) .
