*KATES POV*

That night I went home thinking. Thinking about Taylor. Why couldn't I get him off my mind? Okay I admit he is super hot. And he seems nice. But I can't like him. Even if I think I like him not that's crazy because I've talked to him once.

I go on my phone Instagram, Vine, ect. Than decide to go to sleep.

The next morning I get up, get dressed do my hair and make-up and get ready for school. When I go downstairs there is a note on the counter from my mom. It said "hey sweetie, I'm at work be home tonight by 9 -love mom"

Just as I finished reading there was a knock at the door. I ran to the door and opened it. "Taylor? Why are you here? I thought I told you to stay away from me!" I almost yelled.

As I started to close the door he stopped me. "Wait please, just explain why you hate me? On the way to school?" He asked. "Fine." I reply. I grabbed my bag, went outside and locked the door.

We started to walk. "Explain." Is all he said. "Okay. So. Last year you had a girlfriend correct?" "Yes." He replied. "Okay well, my best friend was your girlfriend."

"Dayum.. Well I don't blame you for hating me, she must have told you what happened?" Taylor asks thinking I wasn't there.

"Actually, you know the friend she was with... Yea I'm the friend." I say getting mad thinking about it. "Oh my.." He says.

*TAYLORS POV*

We'll Kate really has a reason to hate me. Now I know why she hates me this could be harder.

"Do you think we could maybe try to be friends?" I ask trying to act innocent. "We will try. I'm not making any promises though! And don't tell Em, Kay?" "Okay." I reply

On the outside I'm fine but I'm the inside I'm SO happy! Phase one, check!

As we walk up to the school people, mostly girls keep giving Kate dirty looks. She looks at me questioningly. "They want to be you." Is all I say.

*KATES POV*

After school Taylor walked me home. I'm actually starting to like him (as a friend). He's so funny and really nice to be around. I can see why everyone wants to be me, maybe also cuz he is kinda famous. But I don't really care about that I just like being his friend.

When we get to my house I start to walk up to my door and walk inside when Taylor yells my name. "Whaat?!" I yell back. Taylor shakes his phone in the air indicating that he wants my number. I nod my head yes and runs up to the house. We exchange numbers and then he hugs me goodbye

I go inside and collapse on the couch. I am so tired. I slowly fall asleep

I'm walking, and I see Taylor standing there. I call out his name and he comes toward me. I pull him in and start to kiss him. I realize what's going on and step away. "I'm sorry I cant". He steps closer and pulls me in by the waist. Before I can protest he kisses me again.

I wake up and sit up quickly. I look at my phone it's 12:00A.M. and I have one message from my mom. "I'm so sorry hunny I can't come home until Friday, you can last 2 days o. Your right? We'll anyways here is some money. Stay safe love you -Mom."

I don't mind being alone I guess. With my dad dying when I was 4 and being the only child I'm used to it.

I call Emily.

Her: Hello?

Me: Hey Em, I miss you!

Her: I miss you to!

Me: look I gotta tell you something..

Her: Okay, tell me!

Me: Okay don't be mad but remember Taylor?

Her: Yes?

Me: Weeeell he lives here and he goes to my school. He is my only friend and I think I want I

Him to be my friend

Her: Look I'm over him, I honestly don't care. But thanks for telling me!

Me: Thanks Em! I'm glad your not mad. Well I have to go now byeee miss you tons!

Her: miss you to byeee!

And with that I went back to sleep.
