Betray or Stay?

KATES POV

FLASHBACK

Cameron stepped infront of me. "Don't. You. Dare. Touch. Her." Marcus pulls out a gun. Give her up and you can go. Cameron laughs. "Are you crazy? I'm not leaving this place without her."

"No Cameron go." I say. He looks at me, the shock clear in his eyes. "Are you crazy?"

"No." I look down, not wanting to get lost in his eyes. Cameron turns around and faces Marcus. What he does next surprises me. He pulls out a gun from in his belt that was hidden under his shirt and points it at Marcus.

"I am not afraid to fire." He says looking straight at Marcus. "Neither am I." Marcus pulls out a gun from his belt also. Wtf is going on here. Cameron came to save me I get that but now he has a gun? What, okay his he like a cop or something?

"Drop the gun!" Yells Cameron. Before anyone does any things else I walk forward. "Take me." I say. Marcus grabs my arm not dropping his gun. "Kate?!" Cam yells. "I'm sorry." I look at Cameron the fear in his eyes.

All of a sudden Cam launches himself forward onto Marcus, causes him to lose balance, fall, and drop his gun. Cam looks at me "Run!" He instructs. I bolt not looking back.

*CAMERONS POV* (still in flashback)

I watch Kate run away, slowly disappearing. Marcus hits me in the stomach causes me to lose my breath. I quickly recover and straddling him (not in a sexual way) and repeatedly punch him in the face. Eventually he is unconscious. I get up to go find Kate.

As I'm running through the building I hear screams. Kates screams. The pain in her voice makes me wince. I follow the screams until I find her getting beaten by the men in black. They don't see me coming up behind them. I jump on the one punching her. He is shocked by me coming up behind him. He is strong though, but luckily I am fast. I role out of the way of his punch causing him to hit the ground, screaming in pain. I look over to see Kate slowly slipping unconscious.

I realize I still have that gun from before. Not really wanting to kill anyone, but I gotta do what I gotta do. Slowly pull out the gun turn around and shoot the guy who I attacked before. Shooting him right in the head. The other realizes what's going on and let's the passed out Kate alone. Before began reach me I shoot. I get him in the stomach. He's not dead. But we gotta go

I slowly pick Kate up over my shoulder and start to walk out of the building. I get outside and put Kate in the back seat, than return to the front. They will be back for her, no doubt about it. I then start to drive.

I can't bring her to the hospital because that I will be questioned. So I think. Since I am trained I know what to do. It may not sound safe but it's the best thing to do. I drive her to a near by park that everyone goes to. So someone will see her early in the morning. I sprawl her put by a tree, kiss the top of her head and go back to my car. Than I go home to clean up.

*TAYLORS POV*

I know its not Kates fault that she doesn't remember me but I'm still crushed. I really loved this girl, and I think she actually started to feel the same way. If her memory doesn't heal than it will never be the same between us. Don't know what to do!

The thing I want to know is why she wanted to see Cameron? She never even met him so why is he the first one she wants to see? I decide to call Cam.

Me: Hey

Cam: Hey bro, what's up?

Me: I have a question.

Cam: Okay, ask away.

Me: have you ever got together with Kate? Like hung out or anything?

Cam: No, the only time I would have met her was that night. What?

Me: You sure?

Cam: Yes, I swear. Why?!

Me: Oh nothing

Cam: You sure? Is there anything you want to talk about?

Me: No thanks though. I gotta go bye

Cam: K bye, I'll come visit Kate soon

Cam seems suspicious. But he would lie to me. Right? I decide to go talk to Kate.

"Hey." I say at I walk in. "Hey, I'm so so sorry I don't know, and I'm sorry I made you upset." Kate replies. I look at her. "Don't worry about it, it's just a lot to take in." She looks relieved that I'm not mad. "So who are you?" She asks. "Taylor Caniff." I say. Her eyes light up, and than they get angry. "GET OUT!" Kate yells.

"Why?" I ask as I'm standing up. "You, you broke my best friends heart!" Crap, she doesn't only forget me but she now hates me all over. Before I even know what I'm doing i walk over to her bed lean over and kiss her.
