"Do you think he found out it was me?" Valerie asks her friend as she paces back and forth in Roni's bedroom.

"If he did, he would've knocked on my door by now." Roni states as she watches Valerie pace anxiously. "Are you gonna give him a gift today?" She asks as Valerie shrugs. "You should since you're already committed to this whole secret Santa thing, also don't forget Tom is just as committed to finding out who you are as much as you want him to know that it's you." Roni explains.

Valerie sighs, brushing her hair out of her face as she rests her hands on her shoulders. "I know, I know. I just don't know what to get him now." She tells Roni as she rubs her temples in frustration.

"Well, do you want him to know it's you right now?" Roni asks as she sits up on her bed.

"I do, but not yet. I wanna see if he has an idea on who it is though." Valerie says.

"Not to burst your bubble or anything Val, but what are you gonna do if he doesn't like you back?" Roni asks as she gets up to look outside her bedroom window to see Tom outside playing fetch with Tessa.

"If he doesn't, he doesn't. There's nothing I can do about it." Valerie shrugs as she walks up to Roni.

"He just went outside, you wanna go talk to him?" Roni smirks.

"Yeah." Valerie lets out a deep breath, shaking off her nerves.

"Let's go then." Roni smiles as she motions Valerie to follow her lead.

"Wait. What am I gonna say to him?" Valerie freaks out.

"Nothing stupid, I hope." Roni laughs. "He's a normal guy, just have a normal conversation with him like you do with me." She suggests.

"Our conversations aren't normal, Roni. We talk about girly things and what kind of new foods that should be invented, like what Spencer from iCarly did with spaghetti tacos. I can't talk about stuff like that with him." Valerie throws her hands exasperatedly, letting them fall beside her.

"Okay, maybe not like our conversations, but just be you. Don't act anything different." Roni laughs at Valerie's state.

They both walk outside, pretending that they were going for a walk to the neighborhood's park. Roni leads the way, letting Valerie have her moment as she locks the door.

Valerie walks down Roni's driveway, seeing Tom still playing with Tessa. As Valerie keeps walking, Tessa took notice and runs toward her. "Oh, hi." Valerie coos bending down to get Tessa. She picks her up as she caresses the top of Tessa's head, watching Tom run up to them as well.

"I guess she likes you." Tom teases.

"Yeah? Probably more than you, huh?" Valerie teases back, making Tom laugh a little. "She's cute," She coos, "When did you get her?" She asks, looking up at him.

"Someone gave me her two days ago." Tom says as he looked at Tessa adoringly.

"Oh, was it your girlfriend?" Valerie asks.

Tom shakes his head, letting out a small chuckle, "Actually, no. It was a secret admirer." He says smiling at Valerie.

"Aw, that's cute! Do you know who it is?" She asks being hopeful.
