"Oh, cut the bullshit bastard." I take in the scene around me. My brother- Alissandrio is strapped to a chair, his wrist covered with dried blood probably from trying to escape. His forehead is strapped also along with his ankles. The chair is bolted to the floor. He's sweating and shaking out of control. It actually pains me to see. 'He tried to kill you Rosa,' my subconscious tells me. 'But he's your brother.'

"Withdrawal is the worst isn't it? What were you on Alissandrio? Meth? Cocaine? Something to take the edge off?" I near him until I'm close enough to see each bead of sweat pour down his forehead. Without thinking, I slap him- hard. I continue to slap him until my slaps turn into punches and his face is unrecognizable.

"Boss! Rosa stop!" Adolfo has his arms around my abdomen and lifts me up and away from the half dead corpse, supposedly my brother. He releases me by the stairs where Comrade enters and behind him my Bimbos. Adolfo goes back to Alissandrio and feels for his pulse.

"What happened?" Comrade asks alarmed looking at my blood covered, purple fists.

"How close to dead is he?" I ask Adolfo, ignoring Comrade.

"Close," he answers removing his finger from his neck.

"Did you do this to him? Did you do this to your broth-"

"He is no fucking brother of mine."

"Jacopo! Alissandrio! Let go of me!" a familiar voice rings throughout the basement. Heels click against the hard cement as they come down the stairs. Chrystal comes into view. She screams when she takes in Alissandrio's presence. She makes a run towards him. I block her path. "Who did this to him?!" she screeches.

"Shut the fuck up Chrystal! Who let you in?! Where are my men?"

"I'm your mother! I used to live here, I let myself in. What happened to my baby? What'd you do?!" she attempts pushing me with no success.

"Your baby?! You've known him for what? A few fucking weeks?!-"

"Get her out of here," Comrade orders.

"I'm not leaving without my son," she says, sitting on the basement floor. I squat down to her level.

"Rosa," Comrade says warningly.

"I will pick you up by your split ends and drag you up every stair in this fucking house til we get to the door and throw you the fuck off of my property and dare you to scream...mother." She stares at me menacingly, not moving. "So be it." I stand up, reaching for her hair.

"Rosa!" Comrade grabs my arm. "I'll get her out of here. Go get ready for school." His eyes show no argument. I snatch my arm out of his grip and make my way out of the basement and to my room.

I open my bedroom door to find Jesse on my bed sobbing. "What the hell?" I say. She looks up at me eyes red.

"I-is-is he dead?" she asks.

"Who?"

"Ali-ssandrio," she sobs. I sit beside her on my bed.

"Why?" I ask puzzled.

"I-I love him," she cries even harder. My eyes widen with alarm.

"What do you mean you love him?"

"W-we're together." She grabs her stomach.

"You can't mean...?!"

"Yes-I think! I know! I don't know!" she wails crying. I wrap my arm around her shoulders, cradling her head against my chest.
