MACKENZIE PRACTICALLY THREW HERSELF onto Maisy's bed once they get to her house. Maisy chuckled at Mackenzie's attitude. It was a Saturday Afternoon, the brunette had just arrived at her best friend's home, which is also known as her second home, and she is mad.
Maisy's mother had shared the news with her daughter's, Lennon & Maisy which was that they're going back to Canada for the school break. They invited Mackenzie to join them and she wanted to visit so bad considering her internet friend's live there & her best friend won't be with her for a while. But Melissa had denied her daughter's begging and pleading. Mackenzie has reached the point where she'll do anything. And she means anything.
"It's so unfair! All I want to do is spend my holidays with my best friend, does she not know we're each other's halves? We need to be together, I'll lose it if we aren't." She whines.
Maisy laughed at her upset best friend but she agreed with everything she was saying. Plus, Maisy wanted to meet Mackenzie's new friends too. They seem like so much fun. "I know babe, we should try tomorrow! I'll come past with my mum?"
Mackenzie's face lit up and she leaped onto her best friend and tackled her into a hug. "Yes, do that! Oh my god, perfect. Our mum's will talk and she will have to say yes." She rambled.
Tomorrow afternoon rolled by quickly, Mackenzie was lounging on the living room couch finishing off the series she was watching, You. As she was watching she thought of the time her and Johnny were talking about the show and how he found it scary. A small smile forms, she really wants to meet him. Let's hope Maisy and her mother pull through.
The door bell rang throughout the house, Mackenzie jumped up off the couch and ran towards the foyer where the front door is. She took in a deep breath and grabbed the handle, pulling the door open and welcoming the Stella's.
"Maisy, MaryLynne!" She exclaimed, being as enthusiastic as she can. Melissa was in the kitchen waiting on them as she fixed some snacks. Mackenzie led them into the kitchen where there was a big island that they all surrounded. The parents greeted each other and began to speak.
Mackenzie spoke to the Stella's about how they'll talk casually and then MaryLynne will speak to Melissa about the Canada plan. They all were fixated on the lounges, chatting about. Mackenzie and Maisy were talking about their private things and gossiping, you know the go, when their ears perk up once MaryLynne began to discuss the topic.
"So Melissa, you know how close our daughter's are. And how close our family's are, we are practically family. Maisy and Mackenzie are inseparable as we both know, and I am sure your daughter has brought this up a lot but we would really like Mackenzie to come along with us to Canada. You and Maddie could even join us too! It would be so much fun for us and our daughters."
"So much fun!" Mackenzie added on, Melissa shot her a look and Mackenzie's smile fell straight off. She's getting slapped when they leave she can feel it.
"I mean, it wouldn't hurt to visit Canada. It would be a great holiday for us and our kids. Okay, sure. We would love to join you guys. But are you sure you are okay with us joining?"
This didn't stop Maisy and Mackenzie from leaping up from the single couch they were sharing and started hugging and jumping. Smiles were obviously worn and it made their mother's so happy. They love seeing their daughter's happy.
They settled down and began discussing all the basics, flight times, prices, hotels etc. News was shared with Maddie about them going and she was also excited cause she was going to see Kailand but she doesn't want anyone to know. Lennon was also excited when she found out because it would give her a chance to catch up with Maddie.
