I wake up and check my post. Daniel hasn't tried contacting me in over a year. I kinda liked it this way. Why did I decide move to LA? Right because the weather here is amazing for surfing, the ocean is just a short walk away, and to start a new life.

Is that all Daniel wants to be? He can have any girl he wants so why is he trying to win me back.

I close my phone not wanting to deal with fuckboy Daniel anymore. I mean he could've changed but the real question is did he? I know I haven't seen him in a while but he repeatedly broke my heart, I'm not ready for him to walk in my life like he did no harm.

I put on some ripped jeans and a white shirt and head to the coffee shop. Decided I shouldn't just sit in my apartment all day. I walk inside the cute little shop typing away on my phone texting my best friend Paige. Before I know it my phone is on the ground I completely just ran into someone.

"I am so sorry" I say looking up making eye contact with a tall boy.

"It's no biggie" he says. "Jonah by the way" he shows his beautiful smile and I try not to melt.

"Skylar" I respond back.

"Is your phone okay?" He asks picking it up from the floor. "No cracks thank god" Jonah says handing my back my phone. "You look like super familiar."

"I can say you don't look familiar to me" I say "but I'd like you to be." Was that like too far for a guy I just met or.

Jonah winks at me. "You're too cute" he says. "Could I have your number?"

"Of course you can" I say telling Jonah my number. I was shaking. Jonah may be the cutest guy I've ever seen.

"Well Skylar I hope to be seeing more of you" Jonah says winking at me walking out of the coffee shop.

Very eventful first day in LA if I do say so myself.
