Niall's P.O.V.

Mr. Boris told me that he needs my help with something that has something to do with Megan and Harry. He was explaining the details to me when Megan decided to call him. I guess she didn't acknowledge me because she was just looking at Mr. Boris shyly.

I stood there lazily, leaning against the wooden table while waiting for them to finish. When Mr. Boris went to his table, I thought the talk with Megan was over but man, I was wrong. He had a paper in his hand then went back to Megan. I watched as she took the paper from Mr. Boris and her eyes widen from fear.

I wonder why.

Mr. Boris walked towards me then cleared his throat. "So where were we?"

"The plan."

"Oh right!" Mr. Boris slapped his palm into his forehead then looked at me. "I won't be able to see your work because I won't be here tomorrow...and I don't know if you'll execute it correctly..."

There was a doubt in his voice. Does he think I can't do it?

"Oh come on Mr. Boris! Of course I'll do it correctly!" I rolled my eyes.

I'm quite surprised that we're talking like friends here. It's not that I don't like him- not in a weird way if you know what I'm talking about -he's too cool for a teacher. I mean he curses like a teenager, sassy like a black girl- no offense -and stuffs.

I wonder how old he is...

"You said so..."

"Trust me."

"I'll give you extra credits then..." Mr. Boris told me.

"You don't have too!" I lied.

Sometimes you need to act like this for your teacher to give you a huge credit. I saw that on a movie.

"Okay, so you're doing it for free?" He arched an eyebrow.

I take that back! Not sometimes! Rarely.

"No! I need those credits!"

"Okay, very well then," He nodded. "You might wanna have an assistant."

"Yeah, sure whatever." With that I walked out of the room and tried to find the one who I can count on.

When I got to the school's parking lot, I saw a familiar girl siting by the hood of her car while texting. Before I approached her, I headed to Harry's car where he is sitting on the driver's seat while listening to his radio. I knocked on the window, when he saw me, he rolled it down then raised his eyebrow.

"Is it okay if you wait for a bit?" I asked.

"Sure." He shrugged then rolled up his window.

I rolled my eyes then headed to where the familiar girl stood. She looked up and saw me, her already straight face turned into a straighter one- if that's even possible.

"Hey, I need your help."

"And the bad boy asks for help." She rolled her eyes while her lips formed into a thin line.

"Oh, don't act all bitter on me! It wasn't my fault that we broke up back in seventh grade!" I chuckled.

She was a nerdy good girl back then when she was a new student- when we were in seventh grade. But then she fell in love with me and months later, we broke up because of misunderstanding. That was the start when she started hating me- it's safe to say we aren't in good terms. She can't move on that's why she became a nerdy goth. Funny story, isn't it?

"It wasn't mine either." She said in a monotone.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes. " Will you just help me so we can get over this?"

"Fine." She sighed dramatically. "What do you need?"

"So..."

Megan's P.O.V.

When the car stopped in front of my house, I turned to Ivan then smiled. He smiled back then cleared his throat.

"Thanks for dropping me off..."

"No problem, by the way...why did Hannah ask me to drop you off?"

"She said she had to go somewhere..." I replied.

"Okay..." He nodded.

"Bye Ivan!" I smiled then got off the car.

"Aight! See you tomorrow!" He nodded then I shut the car door close.

I run towards my house then went straight to my room, placing my backpack beside my bed. I plopped down on my bed and noticed Hilary's bag gone.

Guess she's gone.

Isn't it obvious? My brain said sarcastically- if it's possible.

I rolled my eyes then grabbed my activity sheet from my bag and stared at it. How the heck am I going to show this to my parents? This is the first 'D' I've received since fourth grade. Sure I've got D's and F's back when I was first to third grade, but it has an excuse- I was kid back then! This has no excuse. I groaned from frustration then immediately shove the paper inside my bag when door knob was twisted.

"Megan, honey why aren't you dressed up yet?" My mom asked.

"What?"

"Don't you remember? We're going to your aunt's house because of the family reunion!" My mom rolled her eyes.

"Oh right!" I smiled sheepishly.

"Anyways, Hilary went home..." My mom informed me.

"Yeah, I've noticed." I nodded while scratching the back of my neck.

"Well, get ready..." Her eyes trailed down to my clothes then she arched an eyebrow towards me. "Or not."

"Hilary gave this to me..." I mumbled.

"Well you can wear that then..." She shrugged. "Just make sure to use your other glasses, okay?"

"Sure..." I replied standing up.

"I'll be waiting downstairs." With that, she closed the door.

I walked towards my dresser then placed my big glasses there then replaced it with my smaller one. I sighed then went downstairs.
