Obito was gloomy, he loved celebrating Christmas, even though he was an atheist, he just liked it as in tradition to bring the whole family and loved ones together at this time of year. But curse the luck his parents were dead for twenty four years, his granny passed away ten years ago, all he had was his teammates. Rin was already having her Christmas with her boyfriend that hated Obito's guts for having a crush on the girl all those years ago.

I don't want a lot for Christmas

There is just one thing I need 

Despite Obito openly admitting his sexuality and even going to Pride Festivals he still acted like if he leaves him and Rin alone for twenty minutes, Obito will do something to Nohara. The Uchiha rolled his eyes.

I don't care about the presents

He's not going to spend the Christmas at Minato's house again. Kushina would be more than glad to have her cooking very much appreciated, but they have to spend their Christmas only in three - yes Naruto was there too. Young boy was a brilliant ball of sunshine.

He's not going to Fugaku's house, though he's welcomed there by Itachi, Sasuke and his cousin Mikoto. Sasuke is a brat, but Obito seen Sasuke stand up for Obito and he couldn't resist hugging him almost dead because of that.

He was alone in apartament he shared with his last teammate. Kakashi, though he promised to be back before Christmas Eve, he was still away. Obito knew the life of Shinobi is dangerous. It hurt a bit that he's alone at day of when everybody celebrated with friends or families. Obito is going to pretend that he's mad at Kakashi, but in reality... he just can't.

The hidden sound of sorrow when Kakashi speaks after letting Obito down, it'll be enough to make him forget and forgive.

Well, even if he's not having anybody for company he can still cook. Kakashi even if he was present, wouldn't help - the cooking skills of his were extended to making tea and buttering toasts. Obito made jelly cake, cheesecake and chocolate pie. He kept on cooking and while looking for the third recepie on cake or pie, he noticed he'd need to get groceries first. 

I don't need to hang my stocking

There'll be no shops open now though... Obito scowled and began peel the vegetables. This was Obito's kitchen and he always started making food from making sweets, then he made the actual dinner/breakfast/whatever. He peeled some potatoes and put them into the pot, poured some water and put it on stove turning it on.

The Uchiha then began making some meat and the sauce to it. In the apartament there was only light on in kitchen and the only sounds were the sounds of frying meat or vegetables or onion, soft curses, timer ringing or cutting. Obito made no noises, he was too focused.
