As Bob settled into his cubicle, his thoughts kept wandering to Lisa and Nora. He wondered how long it would be before one of them walked past him. He didn't have long to wait as he heard Lisa's voice approaching. Bob focused on Lisa and pushed out his thoughts. He told her to tell him good morning. This would be a good test to see if things worked or not. Bob's heart sank as he watched Lisa walk right by him without even so much as a glance. He dropped his head and began to chastise himself for being so gullible. As he looked back up to begin his daily routine, Lisa's head popped over the cubicle.

"Good morning, Bob" she said.

Bob was so shocked that he just looked at her and smiled. As Lisa walked away he had to pinch himself so he knew it wasn't a dream. Lisa had obeyed his command! It worked!

Bob wasn't quite ready to accept that he had gotten her to say good morning at his will, so he decided to try one more tactic to see if it really was him or not. He decided to focus on commanding her to invite him to have coffee with her. He closed his eyes and began projecting his thoughts to her. He put all of his energy into this to ensure a forceful projection to her. When he thought he had succeeded in planting the thought in her mind, he relaxed and started work. He didn't have to wait long for Lisa to come to him.

"Hey, Bob" she said as she peered over his cubicle. I need some coffee, you wanna join me? I really hate going alone".

Bob stumbled over his words, but managed to get a "sure" out. He got up from his chair and walked with her towards the elevator. As he did, he started to plant more ideas into her head. In his projection, he told her she had been noticing him for a while and thought he was cute. She wanted to go out with him, but wasn't sure she should ask. Almost as quickly as he projected his thoughts, she would say exactly what he had told her to. He just couldn't believe this was working. He kept smiling and projecting more and more thoughts to her. He knew where it was going to end, but he wanted to lead her there.

By the time Bob had returned to his cubicle, he had already gotten her phone number and a date for that evening. He was beside himself with the prospects of the evening. He was also a little apprehensive. How long would his projections last? Would she even remember any of it? Was he moving too quickly? So many thoughts swirled around his mind that he found it hard to concentrate on work. He fumbled his way through the day in anticipation of what the evening had in store.
