Star Wars: Young Rebel

Chapter 1:

The streets of Jedha were quiet for a few moments until a young boy raced through them like there was some kind of podrace going on. This young boy was fleeing from an enemy. But what enemy. Not much later the boy came back and drove his speeder bike into an alley. It was quiet for a few seconds, mostly because it was night-time. After some time passed, three imperial speeder bikes raced past the alley the boy was hiding in. After those soldiers passed by, the boy came out of the alley and returned on the streets and he was heading towards the city entrance. It looked like he was leaving to a place outside the city.

''Idryssa, I think I found that boy again'' said Saw before heading towards his stolen imperial walker. ''Saw, give up on that boy. Stealing cargo from those bucketheads is simple.'' Idyssa answered. ''No, not yet. Stealing cargo is easy for us, but for a young boy without any lethal weapons it isn't.'' Well people say that Idyssa isn't that easy to persuade, she gave Saw his right although she isn't in command. Send those Twin Tubes and Morrof after that speeder and let them find out where this boy lives ''I think that we should go follow that boy''. Idyssa said.'' Alright let's get to it then.'' You could hear that saw was a bit tired and that he was a frustrated that he needed to go out of the city and back into the open. ''Get used to the idea of leaving the city''. Idyssa said. '' I know Idryssa, the Empire is here, but that doesn't mean we have to leave. We can fight back and defeat the Empire, like how I defeated the separatist on Onderon back in the clone wars.'' Saw was really serious and thought that this reference could help to convince Idryssa to stay in the city. ''Saw! That was years ago. You had help from a jedi and a highly trained clone captain.'' You know what, let's discuss this some other time, we have a boy to catch at the moment.'' Saw was looking through the window of his walker and then back to Idyssa, who entered the walker while Saw was proposing the plan to fight the Empire, you think the boy is worth it? Idyssa thought of this question for a moment. ''Well you're the commander. So I don't know, maybe? Saw was looking throw his window again.''You know why I ask you these things, Idyssa?

Idryssa looked at Saw with a look that made you think twice before asking. ''Why?'' Idyssa tried to make it sound as a good question. Well you're a good friend and you're a good soldier and pilot and engineer and... Stop it Saw! I get it, I am important to you, said Idyssa with a laugh in her voice. ''Well okay, you are smart. You know what is the best for our militia and what isn't. I ask you because I just want to know. So please don't answer I don't know.'' Idyssa was thinking of a proper answer. I feel like it could be a waste of time, but I know that I would always be curious who that boy is, so let's just do it, Idyssa answered. You said that you wanted to know my opinion on this mission because I am smart. I know that look, saw! There is more. Come on tell me!'' Saw looked Idyssa in her eyes for a few seconds. ''Well you remind me of someone. Someone special and close to me. At least she was close to me.'' Idryssa looked at saw's face and saw that he wasn't joking. Saw teared up a bit. There were a few seconds of silence until saw cleared his throat and told Idryssa of who she reminds him of. ''A few decades ago. During the clone wars. I had a sister. She was brave, smart, strong, honest, a good leader and accurate. But like really accurate.'' Saw laughed because of his own joke. ''But steela, my sister, had the same traits as you have right now. She knew that I made some wrong choices and believe me I still do.'' Saw looked at Idryssa again. Idyssa was silent. ''Saw I don't know what to say. I appreciate that you...'' Before Idyssa could finish her sentence her com went off. ''Saw, Idryssa we detected a boy near one of our hidden resource depots. ''I am sorry, we need to finish this conversation later''. Saw stood up and ran to his speeder in the back of his modified walker. Idyssa was silent and thought of what she heard before. Saw lowered the mini platform which contained his speeder. Idyssa wasn't thinkin anymore she had to do something. She proposed to bring the walker back to their hideout. Saw nodded to her and signed to her that that was a solid plan.

Note: This chapter was a bit short, but I felt like I should introduce this story. My grammar is bad (I know), but I hope people appreciate my story anyways. So I introduced Idryssa who is a real character in the StarWars universe. She was a rebel who joined Saw's militia. She helped Jyn learn about health and hygiëne although she left Saw's militia and joined the Rebel Alliance. The boy: Lucky needs some work though. I feel like he shouldn't have much in common with Ezra, because that wouldn't be that original.
