8.30 P.M, Golden Gate Restaurant

Nam Ji Hyun pushed the main door and entered inside nervously. The restaurant was almost empty, only 7-8 people were sitting in different corners. Some were having diner, Others were having either coffee or beverages. Two people were sitting on a table near the door, there were only water glasses in front of them...they were sitting quietly and mute, but something about them make Nam Ji Hyun to notice deeply.
One was near 40-45, tall, fair, bald, wearing a green bush shirt and jeans, with a pair of quite dirty shoes. He was twisting his fingers nervously and trying to keep himself expressionless. Other one was much younger than him..maybe around 28-30 years, wearing a black denim shirt and jeans. He was wiping his face again and again nervously.
Nam Ji Hyun moved her eyes forcefully from them though she found them a little bit weird. She couldn't stare at someone like this, specially when she was going to apply for working there. She decided to take a look in kitchen section and started walking toward it. Just before she went out of the room, she noticed another weird man in the opposite corner, who was probably watching those two persons out in the name of reading newspaper.
He was wearing a safari shirt and also had a hat. He was looking at those men behind of the newspaper. Suddenly he noticed Nam Ji Hyun staring at him. He looked at her with a cold look and She tried to smile forcefully by getting caught. But as there was no response, she left the room ASAP and felt like relieved.
Nam Ji Hyun peeped in the kitchen and saw Yuri cooking something. There were only two other chefs in the kitchen..She was actually surprised to see only a few people as Golden Gate is one of the famous restaurants. She went in and called," Yuri!!"
Yuri got startled and turned back."Ji Hyun!!" She got excited and hugged her."So happy to see u! U know, I missed u like hell!" Nam Ji Hyun smiled and patted her back smoothly."Me too!" She released herself from the hug and said, '' You were talking about the job, where is the manager?''
-'' Oh, He just went out for buying something. He will be back in sometime. Meanwhile, let's chat and have snacks!! I am seeing u almost after 3 months!''
Nam Ji Hyun laughed." I know Right!! Okay, let's do it. Btw, it seems so empty today, there are only few customers and chefs, what happened?''
-''Don't u know??'' Yuri's eyes go wide in tension ." Five terrorists are roaming freely in the town. Its so scary! Nobody is safe for staying out till late night. That's why we have only 8-10 customers now. Moreover, most of our employees have also gone home. We are doing overtime."
-"Oh!! Right! I heard about it in news!"Nam Ji Hyun remembered.
-" By the way, why u came so late? I messaged u almost three hours ago!"
-" Ah, Umm, ah-ah, I -I just got late!" Nam Ji Hyun didn't explain further.
-" okay, then let's have diner.'' Yuri didn't try to know more.
- ''Yeah, but before that, let me freshen up.'' Nam Ji Hyun smiled and walked toward the washroom outside the kitchen.
While going toward the female washroom, she saw one man coming out of the male one. He was wearing a complete black dress with black jacket and a black cap by which he was trying to hide his face. He saw her and immediately turned away his face. While passing through Nam Ji Hyun, She noticed him to hold something inside his jacket. She was staring at him while That man went inside the sitting lounge. After few seconds, she also went in the washroom.
Nam Ji Hyun opened the tap and splashed cold water on her face. She was looking at her image in the mirror and was thinking about the incidents that happened to her today. Her eyes stopped on the locket hanging on her neck. She caressed it with fingers.

" Blam!!" Nam Ji Hyun got frightened by hearing a huge sound came from outside!!! It took her a few moments to realize that it was a sound of gunshot!! She stood still for a few seconds, then ran towards the lounge.
When she entered into the restaurant lounge, a shocking and scary scene was waiting for her there!
Two men was pointing their guns to three ladies, a young boy and an old man, who were kneeling down by keeping their hands on the back of head! Though both of them were wearing masks, but Nam Ji Hyun easily recognized them. They were the persons who were sitting beside the door! She also noticed the man who was pretending to read newspaper and the man came out from the washroom. Both of them were keeping hostage an old couple, by pointing submachine and shotgun on their head!
Nam Ji Hyun was so shocked by looking at the spot that she was totally blank! After coming back to sense, she decided to warn others and call police, but it was too late! When she was moving backward to run, she felt a cold, hard thing on her back. It was a Noll of a Rifle!!
-'' Don't u dare to move, otherwise ur body will be shattered in pieces!" An evil, cold voice came from her back. She was pushed to the floor near the other hostages and ordered to put her hands back. She followed their order as she didn't have any other option! Then she looked at the person who pushed her. That man was also wearing a mask, with a total black outfit, holding an AK-47 in left hand. Only his eyes were visible, and they were full of hate and anger. Nam Ji Hyun got shivered by looking at his eyes. It felt like that person can kill anyone without having a blink!!
She was so scared that having problem to breath. But still she managed to put herself together and looked around her. Including her, eight persons were keeping as hostages. The person who pushed Nam Ji Hyun seemed to be the leader, as he was ordering others. As per his order, Yuri, the manager and other employees were also caught and dragged to the lounge. Yuri was crying in fear and her eyes got broad by looking at Nam Ji Hyun. She started crying more to see her also as hostage. They put her beside Nam Ji Hyun. She tried to console Yuri but in vain.
The attackers already contacted police and told them about their demand. In a while, the whole area was full of police, military and media. They were calling the attackers from outside and telling to surrender. The leader laughed with an evil tone and told the police that they would release the hostages only if they arranged a helicopter for them  to fly from Korea. They also wanted all the charges against them to take back, so that they can easily shift to other countries.
The police department requested some time to discuss, but the terrorists denied. They gave only one hour to arrange everything, otherwise every hostage would be killed one by one.
Nam Ji Hyun was sweating and breathing heavily. Suddenly she noticed Yuri's face was full of pain. She got leaned on Nam Ji Hyun.
-"Wh-What happened Yuri?! R u okay?!" Nam Ji Hyun hold Yuri in her arms.
-"Pa-Pain! In ch-chest!" Yuri wasn't able to talk properly. She grasped her chest tightly and was trying to breath!
Nam Ji Hyun assumed maybe she was going to stroke because of fear. She got so afraid that couldn't understand what to do. She shouted,"Plzz help! My friend is going to die!"
Everyone turned to them but no one moved. Then the leader walked toward her and pointed his gun," You b**ch!! Stop shouting if u don't wanna die!"
But Nam Ji Hyun didn't care. "Plzz help! Otherwise she will die!"
-"So what?! All of u are going to die anyway in some time! So don't bother us!"
But Nam Ji Hyun didn't stop."Then plzz at least give her some water! Plzz! I beg u!"
The leader was going to say something again, but then one of the assassins told him something in his ear. He thought some time, and threw a water bottle toward her. She caught it and instantly made Yuri to drink some water. She also wiped her face with water. After that, Yuri was feeling better and leaned on her.
Time was passing by. Every second was feeling like a year. There was no response from outside yet. Suddenly, the leader stood up angrily and shouted."Those damn fools haven't replied yet! It seems like they are not 
taking us seriously! We have to give them a demo!"
"Brattaratarat!!!!" The leader started shooting his submachine gun all around on the above of the hostages. All of them started screaming in fear and leaned on floor by hiding their head with hands.
The polices started warning them not to harm citizens, but the assassin was very much angry. "It is too late and u haven't fulfill our conditions yet! Now u have to see the consequences, how I kill all of them one by one!"
The assassins started choosing his target and stopped in front of Nam Ji Hyun. She understood that it might be her last day of life. She closed her eyes and prayed for the last time."Mom, Dad, maybe its time to meet u!"  The assassin approached his hand to hold her.....
