I felt my eyes flutter open and found myself staring at a dark green... Roof? I lay still, not wanting to look around and tried to make sense of what had happened.
Nothing made sense. What did make sense was that I was lying somewhere where the roof was probably made of mammoth dark green leaves and that it didn't hurt anymore.
"She's awake." I heard a deep, male voice speak right beside me.
I turned to look but vision was blurry.
"Help," I croaked. My voice stuck in my throat.
I felt a hand under my head and someone lifting it up and making me drink from a rough coconut cup.
"Drink," now a lady's voice, which sounded a lot like my late grandmother's and which comforted me. "It will make you well."
I drank obediently.
Whatever that liquid was, it was heaven. I drank a bit more and lay my head down.

"Thank you," I said. "Where am I?"
"Don't worry dear, Sabzin will explain to you," the kind lady said.
"Wait." I said. "Dont leave me, please."
I tried to get up but weakness overpowered me.
"Don't get up. I will explain to you everything." I tried to see in the direction of the male voice. "I am Sabzin."
I looked at the person the voice was coming from and gasped.
He was tall, lean and had a Tarzan like attire on. His hair was short and swept to the side. What shocked me were his deep green eyes. And he was green. Everything. His skin, his hair. His hair was more towards blonde tinged with green.
"Sleep," Sabzin said as he looked down at me. "You must rest."
And as if my mind and body did not belong to me, my eyes shut closed and I fell into a dreamless sleep.
