***Ben's POV***
I know I shouldn't have done that, why did I do that? Damn it I'm so stupid. The boys all go back to their bunks Kayla goes to follow but I stop her.
"Can we talk?" I ask.
"About what?"
"I know, you know, that I cheated"
"I know"
"I'm really sorry, I was drunk"
"Being drunk isn't an excuse" I spit
"I know" He says almost giving up
"Let's just let it go" I say angrily
"But..."
"Just let it go! We're even!"
"Do you mean...?"
"Yes."
"Did you know the person...do I know the person?"
"I don't remember. What about you?"
"Me either" he lied
"I know you're lying"
"I'm not!"
"Please Ben, just tell me who"
"I can't"
"You can"
"I can't because it is Cam's girlfriend" he whispers
"You what!" Cam screams standing in the doorway
"Cam!" Ben says jumping off the couch. I just sit back and watch this unfold.
"You son of a bitch!" Cam says running at Ben and punching him.
"Danny!" I call hoping he can stop this. The bus is still moving so we can't go anywhere.
Danny comes in trying to break up the fight. They finally break up after James helps Danny.
"What the hell?" James says
"He...!" Cam yells, anger bubbling over him so well that he cannot even speak.
"Ben cheated on me with Cam's girlfriend" I explain. Danny looks at me and brings me to the back bunk area, leaving James to fix those two.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yes" I say holding back the tears
"I know you're lying"
"No" I say feeling a tear run down my cheek. Don't cry, don't cry don't cry.
He hugs me and that sets off the sobs. I try to hide them, not making them super loud, but no success.
"You guys just keep going with other girls bumping me around like a volleyball. I don't know what to do"
"I know, it was a shitty thing he did"
"I don't want it to hurt anymore"
"We all make mistakes, especially when we are drunk"
"But it hurts"
"I know baby"
I see Ben walk in out of the corner of my eye. I take a bottle of whiskey that was laying on the floor and chuck it at him. He ducks out of the way but still has a sympathetic look on his face.
"Ben, you should just leave her alone for a while" Sam says pulling him back out into the living area.
"You can't throw bottles at him" Danny says rubbing my back. I sit back on his bed and blow out air through my mouth.
"He loves you" Danny says sadly
"We all do, in our own ways"
"Some more than a friend"
"Some more than a friend" he repeated.
I rub my temples, feeling a headache come on. "I just wanted no drama"
"I'm sorry"
"It's okay. I just don't know what to do. I really want to date Ben, and you but I can't handle you guys cheating!"
"Then pick me."
"I was going to tell you...."
"Oh, you picked Ben..."
"I'm sorry"
"No, I can be the friend you need"
"That's the thing. I like you both but him more but I don't want to get involved if he's just going to cheat"
"You know I will always....like you" Danny says hesitantly
"I know. And I will always kinda like you too."
"But you love Ben" Danny gives a sad laugh
At that point I realized; 'I just have to talk things out' 'Accept who he is'. But I didn't want to keep trying for someone. Why is this so hard? And now I am feeling even more intense feelings for Danny. I give up. Ben is more attractive. That's a plus, but Danny seems to have more emotion, more sympathy.
"I don't know" I finally say "I feel like I am playing with your guys' hearts."
"We like you, we can handle a lot"
"It just really sucks" I say laying my head on Danny's shoulder. Maybe if I sleep a dream will tell me who to pick. I roll into Danny's bunk tucking the covers, surprisingly he doesn't follow.
***Danny's POV***
"What'd she say?" Ben says anxiously, putting ice on his blackened eye
"Nothing" I say coldly
"She had to say something!"
"She said you're a man whore and need to keep it in your pants!"
"No she didn't" James says rolling his eyes and patting Ben on the back.
"It was a mistake" Ben sobs
"Damn right it was" Cam grumbles
"What are you going to do?" I ask Cam
"I already called her and broke up with her"
"Oh. Look guys" I say getting everyone's attention. "We all love Kayla, you know all she wanted was no drama and that's what she got."
Everyone nods in agreement
"We need to group hug it out, she doesn't need all this on her shoulders" I continue
"I'm not hugging him" Cam says angrily
"Hug him hug him hug him" Sam, James and I chant.
"I'm sorry" Ben says getting up to hug Cam
"Fine" Cam sighs "Sorry for punching you"
Everyone claps and we go back to our old selves, watching T.V.
I'm still mad at Ben but for Kayla's sake, I won't show it. How can he do this to her?
