When She looks Far Off
When she looks far off
Her mind is far away too.
She stares at the sky wondering
Dreaming of a place she can truly be happy.
She looks down knowing darkness
She feels engulfed by its presence.
She falls to her knees crying black tears.
She feels a burning inside.
A fiery passion of oranges and reds
She feels its intense pain surging through her body.
She screams but no one hears.
She flails but no one sees.
She feels the rage of all the wrong done to her.
She roars with anger and heartbreak
Loneliness and Pain
Darkness and suffering
Then she puts on her mask for the world,
As if nothing ever happened.
