Oi by the way guys, you know how its been so long?
Yeah, now I'm pretty rusty at writing stories, OOF.
So sorry if this chapter is gonna sound like a ten year old wrote it, but, oh well
Also y'all guessed it... Cas and Dean are gonna star in this one ;)))))
Anyways, ON WITH THE STORY"No way, he was at the coffee shop?" Alana asks, throwing herself onto the couch.
"Alana, I've told you this multiple times, it might not have been him, it could've been a crazy homeless person. Plus this was like a week ago, you need to stop asking me," I replied sitting next to her.
"Yeah yeah, I know, I'm just trying to figure this all out, what's he doing here, it's such a coincidence that he came to the EXACT coffee shop YOU own,"
"Don't think too much, you'll hurt yourself."
She grumbled and turned on the TV. She scrolled in silence till the screen showed Supernatural, she stared and smiled.
"Remember how we were obsessed with this show?" She said smiling widely "We even named our pets after them."
I laughed and called Cas, he waddled over slowly wagging his tail and he jumped on my lap, knocking the air out of me. He still thinks he's as light as a puppy.
"Do you wanna start watching it again?" I ask slowly petting is back.
She sighed and grabbed some chips before sitting down.
"Sure why not."
We watched some episodes for a while, catching up with the new seasons. It was nice to watch it again, the nostalgia was really nice. I remembered when I got Cas, the little puppy was snuggled up to another puppy, a golden retriever I think. They were lost or abandoned, something like that, finding each other for strength. The cat which is now named Sam would sneak up next them to also find warmth. It was the cutest thing ever. We would stop by them every now and then to give them food, caring for every single one of them. I became really attached to the corgi, its blue eyes reminding me of the famous angel on the screen. When we got our own apartment (we were staying at a friend's house), I decided to grab Sam and Cas. I tried to grab the little golden retriever but every time I tried to grab it, it ran away. I gave up and walked away, cradling the two animals in my arms to keep them warm, I can still hear Cas' whimpers, crying for his friend.
"Hey Jared?" Alana interupted my thoughts.
"Mhm?" I replied, still thinking.
"How about you take Cas for a walk?"
"Uhh, yeah, sure."
I gently pushed Cas off my lap and stood up, walking over to get his leash from the hanger. He got excited at the sight and jumped off the couch and started nipping at my ankles. I put on his leash and stepped out the door, the smell of dead trees filled my nostrils. I shivered and walked down the stairs and started going to the park. I was never really someone who really liked the outdoors, human interaction is for newbs. When I had to get a job it was the worst thing ever, all I wanted to do was lay in my bed scrolling through tumblr and stalking people on instagram. I only go outside for Cas and that's it, I got to spoil my baby boy.
I was halfway to the park and was already tired and wishing for home, Cas was waddling beside me and panting, sniffing at random things on the sidewalk. The park was not my favourite place, it was filled with homeless people, crackheads, and drunk teenagers, there was rarely any nice people. A lot of people are petitioning to turn it in to a restaurant or something like that. I could see the park from where I was standing, a few smokers leaning on the poles. I sighed and put on my headphones, clicking shuffle on my playlist. I turned the music on max to block out the outside world. I walked by the poles and in to the entrance, avoiding any eye contact from the smokers. I felt Cas tug on his leash, he did it again, and before I knew it he was dragging me towards someone in the distance sitting on the bench with a dog beside them.
