minghao froze. he put his phone into his pocket and looked up nervously.

"i found a bunch on the ground and tossed them away" mingyu gave a loud "ohhh" as minghao sighed. 'thank god he believed me'

silence filled the room as they were walking towards their classroom. as mingyu was about to open the door, minghao stopped him.

"can you tell ms. hwang i am in the nurse? i don't feel well"

"okay" he replied as he bidded farewell to minghao. disappearing into the class.

minghao leaned against the closed door and sighed. he held onto his bag and ran towards their clubroom. his emotions building up, tearing welling up in his eyes.

it hurt.

why does jun have a girlfriend.

the loud sound of a bell echoed throughout the school, it was lunchtime.

minghao rubbed his eyes and picked up his bag, opening the clubroom door and walking towards the cafeteria.

as he neared the table he could see jun and jieun talking to eachother. he could see how happy jun looked and it hurt him so much.

minghao took a deep breath and walked up, a fake smile plastered on his face. "hey!" he waved to them. they all looked at him and he was then tackled by seokmin.

"why weren't you in classss" he whined as minghao chuckled. hugging him back.

"i was not feeling well, that's all"

"i se- CHAN PUT BACK MY ORANGE JUICE" seokmin got off of minghao and ran towards chan. everybody laughed, it was like watching two children fight.

well, everyone but jieun.

"stop fighting. are you guys children? just take my juice" she stated coldly as she tossed her juice box towards seokmin.

everyone froze, shocked at her action. the juice box was actually thrown harshly and hit seokmin in the head.

he pouted and rubbed the top of his head.

"sorry seokmin, jieun doesn't mean it. she is just cold to people that she isn't close with" jun responded as he ruffled her hair. jieun pouted in return and acted like she was mad.

minghao rolled his eyes and sat beside jeonghan, who placed his hand on minghao's forehead, checking if he had a fever.

"are you feeling any better?" minghao nodded and smiled towards the older.

"if you still feel ill you can skip the club meeting later" minghao smiled and reached over to take seungkwan's food.

his kimbap.

seungkwan dramatically stood up, "HEY. ARE YOU KIMBAP KIDDING" he whined as hansol ate quietly beside him, watching the drama.

mingyu stood up, "HEY HEY. CALM DOWN CALM DOWN" minghao chuckled and took a bite of the food.

seungkwan frowned and crossed his arms in response as minghao apologized with his mouth full.

"i will accept your apology if you finish chewing before you talk" he stated as he flicked minghao's forehead.

minghao grumbled and flicked his forehead back, making seungkwan yell as he rubbed his head.

minghao stook his tongue out, to mock him as seungkwan rolled his sleeves up.

"okay no more fighting" seungcheol stepped in, making both of them sit down in defeat.

minghao walked quietly to class, when someone randomly tapped his shoulder. he turned around and faced jun, who looked serious.

"why don't you like jieun?" he said sternly.

"what? i never said-"

"you ran away when you first met her, you rolled your eyes at her, you obviously don't like her" jun stated as he gripped onto minghao's shoulder.

"i felt sick in the morning okay?! what, did you want me to throw up on her?!" minghao yelled, smacking jun's hands away.

jun stood there in shock. that was the first time minghao raised his voice at him.

"she even dared to throw a juicebox at one of my closest friends. seokmin is your close friend too!"

"well minghao, i forgive her because i love her"

"i love her so fucking much that you won't be able to understand" minghao felt the pain grow. his throat started to burn as his eyes watered.

without responding, minghao dropped to the ground. he held onto his throat as he coughed. multiple petals fell onto the ground as jun grabbed onto minghao.

"are you okay?!" minghao turned towards jun, looking away immediately as he stood up and sprinted away.

leaving jun who was shocked and confused. he picked up one of the petals and stared at it.

"he threw these up?!"
