I awoke to the sound of Stephanie's unusually loud alarm clock. I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms. Looking over, I saw Stephanie do the same. "Morning Steph! Hey, I was thinking about what to wear to Pixel's house. Any suggestions?" I asked her, cocking my head. "I think I may have a few outfits, just let me get changed first!" She replied, hopping out of bed. Stephanie walked over to her closet and pulled on the same outfit she wore everyday. Then she grabbed my hand and handed me some clothes.
(Your outfit:)"I look...different. Are you sure this is presentable?" I asked. "Of course, you honestly look amazing in everything!" Stephanie replied, I giggled at the compliment. Everyone in LazyTown seemed very nice, it was strange. We decided to head towards the kitchen to see what the adults were up to. "Hello ladies, did you sleep well?" The Mayor asked as we walked in. "We sure did! We're actually heading to Pixel's in a bit, is breakfast ready?" said Stephanie. "Actually it is. Oh Y/N, your parents went shopping. I'll tell them you're going to Pixel's house. He said. "Thank you!" I said, nodding.
Today was a warm and breezy day. The weather in LazyTown was honestly perfect for me! Walking in boots made my stride a little wobbly, but Stephanie kept me standing up straight. Turning the corner, we spotted Stingy, Trixie, and a blonde boy standing in front of Pixel's house. "Hey guys!" Shouted Stephanie. The other kids waved and shouted her name. "Is that the new kid?" the blonde boy asked Stingy. "Yep, that's Y/N! She's pretty cool." Stingy replied. His comment caused me to blush, I quickly hid my face with my sweater sleeve. "Y/N, that's Ziggy. I don't believe you met him yesterday." said Stephanie. "I had a fever but luckily I'm over that now!" Ziggy said, holding out his hand, and I kindly shook it. A few seconds later, I spotted Pixel running down the street holding a grocery bag.
"S-sorry I'm late guys, i forgot the popcorn!" He huffed, opening the front door to his home. Everyone filed inside and headed toward his bedroom. It was neat and small, which pleased you. The room was full of devices, computers, and wires. I guess that's why his name is Pixel. "What movie do you guys want to start with?" Pixel asked holding the TV remote. "I want to watch my favorite movie!" Stingy said holding up some cowboy movie. Everyone else seemed to agree, so I just nodded. I sat down next to Stingy, I kinda wanted to become closer to him. He always felt lonely, he had wonderful friends, but Stingy just was almost...distant.
"So, Y/N, what's your favorite movie?" Stingy asked, catching me off guard. "I mean..I've always enjoyed artsy movies. But I don't really have a favorite." I replied. "Well that's a shame. Anyway, are you enjoying LazyTown so far, I hope you are." Stingy said, causing my eyes to enlarge to the size of the moon. "Ooh, someone likes Y/N!" Trixie sneered. "Shut up! I was making sure she was comfortable. Don't be jealous just because nobody cares about you!" Stingy snapped back. "Guys, no need to fight, just enjoy the movie." Ziggy said, putting his arms between the two of them.
Once the movie ended, Pixel sat up and said "Hey, you guys wanna sleep over?". "That sounds awesome!" Stephanie said. "I'll call my parents." I said, picking up my cell and dialing my dad's phone number. We had a friendly chat and he told Stephanie and I to come get our things. At night time, LazyTown was a little unsettling. The shops were closed, the homes were dark, and the only light was coming from old and rusty street lamps. The spooky atmosphere was perfect for cloaking an evil villain, and I mean perfect. The moment we turned the corner, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
