***flashback***

Bella's pov

I woke up one morning to a loud bang downstairs, I ran downstairs as fast as I could, without falling down the stairs.

When I got there I fell to my knees crying at the sight of my mom and dad lying on the floor with blood around them. I turned around to see a girl in her twenty's with hair like fire she stared at me for a minute and then lurked over to me and whispered "this will hurt" her voice sent shivers down my spine I would have forgotten about my parents if it wasn't for the pool of blood on the ground. Before I had time to get away the girl grabbed my head tilted it sideways and bit my neck it felt like my whole body was burning. I was hoped that I was dead so I could be with my parents but I wasn't I woke up after what seemed like a lifetime but was only two days. The first thing I saw was the girl who caused me all this pain she walked over to me and said her name was Victoria and she had turned me into a vampire.

I didn't believe her I just wanted to run as far away as possible from her but I didn't I wanted to see what other lies she would tell me after all vampires aren't real. She told me not to tell any humans and that I will have to kill humans to feed I did not want to and she told me that she has heard about vampires who hunt animals so I decided that would be my lifestyle.

***end of flashback***

Bella's pov

I opened my eyes to the familiar site of my new room I know it's odd for a vampire to be able to sleep I know but I can. I shuddered at the thought of starting high school over again but I suppose it makes me look more human. I got up and got dressed I didn't dress up much as I knew I would be stared at from the school anyway so I just put on a pair of skinny jeans a white long sleeved shirt and red converse I left my hair down and put on a hairband.

I pulled up to the school parking lot and went inside the office, the woman at the desk didn't notice I had come in. When she looked up she was part shocked and part dazzled at my beauty. Once she had come back to reality I walked closer to the desk and said "im the new student Bella Swan" she gave me my timetable and a slip and told me to get my teachers to sign it before each class I thanked her and left for my first class biology I wanted to get their before the class started as was running late I handed the note to the teacher and sat down in a chair at the back of the class I started doodling on my notebook when someone came and sat down next to me I lifted my eyes of my notebook and quickly glanced overl at him he had pale skin golden eyes like mine and bronze hair he met my glance and smiled at me I smiled back as I did not want to be rude, I then suddenly realised something he had no heartbeat.
