The night was silently black. The dark, shadowy forest was casting long shadows over the bright, huge moon making the night look like a chiaroscuro painting. Suddenly, the silence was broken with a rustle in the black bushes. It seemed to snap away the peaceful, mysterious silence in half of the forest, and continued to make its disturbance. After a few moments of the rustling, an arm slowly emerged from the bush. It was orange, but under the blue night it was casted as gray-ish. It had spots colored all over it, and after that an orange face popped out of the bush. She had red hair, black eyes with only a yellow pupil with smoke slowly emanating from it, and ears twitching. From another black bush, a rustle quickly picked up and a girl with a large, red bow on her head dressed in school clothing with her smirking grin. Then the girl spoke.
"Hello, Ember."
"Monika," the orange lynx snapped at the girl, "you aren't supposed to be here!"
"Oh, but you don't know what's coming, Ember."
"I don't," her gaze fell to the ground, "but I do know that you aren't supposed to be here."
"The thing, that's coming, is supposed to be here."
"What do you mean?"
"You just wait," she cooed, "by sunrise tomorrow the first member will come; the first two members will come."
"The first members of what?!" her tone seemed polar opposite to the other girl, who remained calm and cool.
"You just see," she purred.
"Wait-don't go! Monika!" Her full body emerged from the black bush and she came running on four legs to catch up to the other girl, who was slowly walking away from the scene. But by the time she got there, she saw nothing but the pure, Black Forest.
By sunrise tomorrow, the first member two members will come
The chilling voice of the girl echoed in her head. What was coming? She looked up at the ever black sky, and stared at the enormous moon like she was expecting an answer.
