Nothing. There wasn't anybody there. I sniffed the air, the smell was definitely coming from this room. I looked over to my window feeling a slight breeze, that's how the smell got into my house. I walked over to the window the latch was broken. Feeling slightly panicked I closed the window and shut the door behind me when I exited the room. I really need a new lock for my window, but window stoppers are going to have to work for now. I went to the kitchen drawer and got some window stoppers, I went back to my window and set them so the window could only open a crack. Happy with my work I went to the kitchen and opened the fridge, I swear I just filled this fridge up with food. I sighed, I have to go to the store tomorrow. I settled for some milk and a PB sandwich. I sat down in front of the TV, and turned on Adventure Time. I know I'm so childish, but the show always made me feel like a kid again.
"Adventure time, come on grab your friends and go to very distant lands, Jake the dog and Fin the human, the fun will never end, it's Adventure Time!" I love the theme song, but the song at the end I loved even more. The Island song was dedicated to me by a friend that moved away, now instead of living in Florida she lived in Scotland. I still Skyped her once in awhile, but I'd have to do it either 3 in the morning or at 1 in the afternoon. I was in school until 4PM, and 3AM was just too early. My mood to watch TV was killed when I thought of her, Kirsty was always such a good friend. I just wish I could be there for her. Before I realized it my shirt was soaked with salty tears. I missed her so dang much. She made me feel safe, even when I was in my foster family. She'd been there for me even when I wasn't there for her. After awhile of crying and wishing Kirsty was beside me I fell into a dreamless sleep. I rarely had dreams.
