The next day at school, i avoided Matt with every ounce of me.
"Okay spill" Kasey said shutting my locker
"Why do you love to do that?" I said re opening it
"Why are you acting a quiet today? Did you think i wouldn't notice" she asked
"Of course not just super tired" i shrugged.
I started walking to my next period and she followed continuous asking questions that i didn't wanna answer. I wasn't mad at her or even at Cam, it's just that everything seemed so flustered.
"Look it's just that Matt lied to me okay?" i said and walked off.
Not gonna lie it was a little dramatic but i had to get her to stop talking somehow.
My next class was Math with Cam. I sit by him because what's more fun than sitting by your brother.
I put my stuff down and sat by him. Not a single word.
"How long do you plan on not talking to me?" i asked him
"Till the day we aren't twins anymore" He replied
"Technically, you're talking to me" i laughed
He rolled his eyes and continued giving me the silent treatment. And i hated it.
Mrs.Henry, our math teacher began talking an assigned a group project towards the end of class
"Cameron, Elena and Matthew you'll be working in a group together" she projected.
Matt winked at me.
I rolled my eyes
Great what could be better than that.
I could tell Cam wasn't excited about it either. I love my brother and i know he just wants the best for me but i truly wish he would let this one go.
The bell rang and school was finally over.
"So our project, how about your house at 6:00 tomorrow" Matthew flirtatiously said to me.
"Can't, i actually have plans" i sort of shaked him off.
"Oh yeah, with who" I could tell he was a little bit jealous
I also noticed Cam started listening.
"Actually with Alex from Target" i confidently replied.
Cam looked at me and i knew he was pissed. I felt bad too because i knew how he felt about it.
"My God, i knew you were stupid but not this stupid" He walked off.
"Have fun on your date" Matt called.
Whatever. I should probably just find Liz so i can go home.
