It was the lunar new year, a time of festivities.
According to Chinese tradition, it was a great time for courting. Great relationships tend to start at this time of the year.
I was pumped, I was just invited to a date from my girlfriend last night. I talked to my friends about it, asking what I should be doing. After a few minutes of non-stop laughter, they made a bet with me for a few thousand to go with her.
Honestly, I'm only going because of the money, not for her. I gotta save up for that convention next month.
Even if I called her my girlfriend, the term was already pushing it. We just met around 3 months ago and weren't even in a proper relationship. I don't even know why I was suddenly invited all of the sudden. It was also a late notice on her part....
The message told me to meet her in a nearby mall. First thing we'd do after meeting up is to eat lunch, then afterwards head towards the theater to watch the new blockbuster movie everyone's hyped about.
Before meeting up, I passed by a store to which specialized in selling roses, after pondering for a moment, I decided it wasn't worth my time to even spend a minute to buy her a gift. Not yet at least. Who cares if I impress her or not, right?
I took my time to get to the restaurant. I took several detours; to the nearby shop that sells figurines, to a bookstore to buy myself some adult magazines, go to the arcade to win some candy, adore some pets in the garden.
After a strike of astonishment from the adorable coat of a kitten, I finally decided to head to the restaurant. Checking my watch, I was almost an hour late for our lunch. If she isn't there, well there's always that action movie...

"Jeez, where is he?" A girl asked herself while taking a sip from a glass of orange juice.
She had no one to talk to and was alone in the dining table.
She has been waiting in the restaurant for 1 and a half hour already.
"Why did I even agree to have a date with him? What was I thinking when I said yes to the offer?" She continued to ask herself.
Giving up, she got up from her seat, bitterly paid the bill and quickly exited the restaurant. If her date wasn't coming, she might as well head to the cinema.
Arriving in the cinema, the petite girl started to wander around to browse through the latest showings.
The original plan was to meet up with her date here and watch an action movie, though she still hasn't bought the tickets. She decided to switch from the original plan and instead watch a romance movie on the relationship between two lovebirds separated by fate and lust.
Unknowing to her, her original date was already inside the cinema watching the action movie. He apparently entered the cinema a few minutes before the girl arrived.

"Alright, so how was the date?" A third person privately texted to two individuals later that night. He texted this message to both the "boyfriend" and "girlfriend".
"Kill me now." Was the boyfriend's response.
"Screw you." Was the girlfriend's.
A overused "HAHAHAHAHA" was the response given to them in their conversation.
Unknowingly to both sides, the person they were talking to was the being who orchestrated this whole affair.
He was trying to get himself some entertainment by using his friends.
Author's Note:
And that's that. There are 3 main perspectives that you see, but then the story overall is textualized by me, the author. Story was rushed because the "Mastermind" of the date is rushing me to actually publish this..... I'm a slave to society.
