In honor of Christmas here is a holiday fact: In order to get A Christmas Carol out before the holiday season ended, Charles Dickens had to write the manuscript in 6 weeks. Considering the short time he had to accomplish this and the extraordinary meaning his story has today, I'd say his holiday inspiration was a true success!
