New school🏫🤦🏾‍♀️

My names Safari and I'm a 15 year old sophomore and I just moved to Chino Hills, California from Decatur GA. It's really pretty down here I'm really here because my mom got accepted at a  job here. I have 2 siblings. Sydney(16) and Zay(17). Tomorrow we've got school at Chino Hills High School. I really don't wanna go to another school I'm gonna miss my friends back in Decatur, nobodys gonna know me here.

*Skip to next day*
I wake up to my alarm "Great school a place I have to go where people don't even care about me at" I say to myself so dryly. I got dressed (picture above), brushed my teeth, the regular morning routine. "Safari hurry up we gotta go" Zay said. "I'll walk to school I'm looking for my lipgloss I can't find it" I say back yelling from upstairs.

*School*
I walk up to the school and I see so many kids and I'm lost. Zay or Sydney nowhere to be found but good thing I found the front office so I can get my schedule. "Good morning my names Ms.duff, how can I help you ?" "My names Safari Johnson I'm new here and I need a schedule". She puts my name in the system and gave me a schedule and my locker number "Have a nice day", she says as I walk out the office.
I finally found my locker but as soon as I open my locker a tall light skin boy walks up to me and hands me my schedule, I must of dropped it I say in my head. He looks familiar 🤔 OMG that's Lamelo Ball he's cuter in person. "You dropped your schedule my names- I cut him off. "I know who you are thank you for giving me my schedule though", I say a little mean.

*Melo's POV*
"Can I get your number" ? I asked her. "My phones off", she said it so fast like she knew I was gonna ask. I just laughed, she cute but she mean. "Can I get your name then". "Safari or fari doesn't matter". "I know your phone not off you got a whole iPhone 8", I say. I know she playing hard to get. "Lemme see your phone". She gave it to me so I called my phone. "I thought it was off", I told her. "I thought it was too" , she slammed her locker.

*Safari POV*
"Can I get my phone back"? I was now talking to myself because he was nowhere to be found. So I walked in the bathroom I see these 3 pretty girls. One of them told me I was pretty I said thank you then I finally asked them, "Have y'all seen Melo...um tall, light skin, braces"? They looked at me like I was dumb and shook their heads yea like I knew they knew him. "Y'all know where his next class is"? Yea it's technology class I'm Destiny, what's yours ?". "I'm Safari or fari how you know his next class"? I asked being curious. "We're all friends we have a group chat on iMessage wanna be in it"? "I don't know my number that's why I'm here and he has my phone". "Let me see your schedule and I'm Aaliyah". I gave her my schedule. "We all have the same schedule and you have technology next too", she said so happy. We all walk to class but before we walk in I asked the last girl what her name was. "Kah'leah", she said with a smile. I see Melo so I go to him. "Give me my phone back!" He just laughed. I wasn't gonna argue with him so I sat by Aaliyah, Kah'leah, and Destiny. "He likes you" Destiny said. I just rolled my eyes and waited for 3rd period.

*Gym*
Finally we're in 3rd period all I'm trying to look for is a tall light skin. I finally seen him and walked up to him quickly dug in his pocket but I pulled out some keys. "You got a car ?" "No, I just happened to have keys in my pocket" he said very annoyingly. "Alright smart ass I just want my phone where is it !". "Gotta give me ya number first". "I DONT KNOW IT, WHY YOU THINK I WANT IT BACK!!!" He gave me my phone. "If you make 3 shots I'll give it to you". "Bet! Eli give me a ball" He said to a boy must be his friend. He made the shots. "What's that!" He said cheesing so hard. (Yo I love brace faces😍😍😍 gotta play it cool) "And buy me some fries from McDonald's. "Let's go" He said.
