SO NEW RULES CAME OUT, SO I WAS LIKE, HEYY I SHOULD UPDATE THIS LOL:
As many weeks passed, she continued to drown in her twisted love, falling endlessly through the crashing waves of clashing affection.
Work and travel had begun once again, causing her to lose focus on what she was doing, to lose focus on the fact that she was trying to bring Jeremy back into her life. From rehearsals in New York for Kinky Boots- beginning in the upcoming week- to filming music videos for their newest Pentatonix songs (Attention, Havana, New Rules x Are You That Somebody, Perfect, and so much more), her life was brimming with absolute chaos and craziness. Not that she was complaining; she truly loved her job and loved bringing happiness to other people's lives.
To make matters even more complicated, tonight was Grammy's night. Which wasn't bad at all, it just was that she had to speak with Jeremy as s**n as possible. Which meant that he might call her during the Grammy's. And during the time in which one of her closest friends was with her, Scott, who, as well as everyone else, didn't know about her trying to rekindle things with Jeremy.
Definitely not a good thing, not a good topic right now. Especially since Scott despised Jeremy after everything that had happened between her relationship with Jeremy back in October.
Kirstie breathed, hoping that nothing eventful would occur- besides the typical events of the Grammy's, of course.
"Kirst, you alright? Your face is literally as white as paper, whiter than it was a few minutes ago, and I literally put your typical tan shade of the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation on you. Is everything okay, babe?" Nicole asked, furrowing her eyebrows, as Kirstie brushed away her swarming thoughts, nodding instantaneously.
"I'm fine. Just tired, I guess," Kirstie sighed, sending the redhead a smile.
"The Grammy's will wake you up for sure, girly," Nicole noted with a laugh, grabbing her beauty blender, as Kirstie grinned along.
"Yup, it definitely will."
***********************************Shimmering lights shone across their faces, freckling bright sparks against their flesh. Cameras continued to flicker abruptly, as she beamed, with her arm against Scott. She flashed numerous smiles towards the paparazzi, as they posed endlessly for the crowds; countless celebrities coming through, joining the sparkling spotlight.
Voices blurred through her ears, as she merely kept her fake smile, giggling as well.
Scott, noticing her slight discomfort, whispered against her ear, "If you want, we can go now and find our seats."
"Yeah, that'd be great," Kirstie agreed, sighing a bit in relief.
"But first," Scott smirked. "Let's take a selfie."
"Song reference?" Kirstie rolled her eyes, laughing, as they took a quick picture on Scott's iPhone X.
Linking their arms, they snickered, ambling inside, passing by dozens of notable characters in the film of fame.
Kirstie sucked in her breath, as her phone vibrated against her purse. Fumbling inside her bag, her fingers grasped her phone, as she checked to see who it was.
