Chapter 31

After speaking with the rest of Team 10 about what I discovered, we all also noticed they hadn't been on any of their social media accounts either. It's like they vanished. Worried didn't come close to what I was feeling right now, mixed emotions wrapped around me. Trapping me.
Deep in thought, uncle Kade came and sat next to me on the sofa.

"Hey, it will be fine. They would be in a hotel or something, they will come back"
As much as I wanted to believe Kade, I couldn't. What if they really had gone?
I gave him a weak smile before heading to my room.

The next morning I checked my phone, still nothing. I was beyond panicked now. I felt lonely without Ivan, it was him who brought me here, it was him who made me feel safe, he was a part of me that was disappearing  and I didn't know where to.

'What ifs' filled my head. "Are you okay?" Jake asked, snapping me back to reality.
"Jake, what happens if they don't come back?" I ask him, holding back the tears.
"Ivan loves you, he always talked about you and he will come back for you" he reassured me.
"If you ever want to talk, I'm here. All we can do for now is wait" with that he left.

That's when my phone beeped...
