"Deep in the land of Zaron, the Humans of Kupa Keep struggle to stay alive as they are attacked by the wicked Drow Elves of Larnion. Darkness falls as the humans beg their king to save them. A noble king, known as the Grand Wizard. For a thousand years the battle has been waged, with only the bravery of the Grand Wizard to protect his human followers. But even though the Wizard King is undeniably cool, the Drow Elf armies continue their attacks. They seek the humans most treasured relic, the Stick of Truth. But the tides of war are soon to change, as news of three new kids spread throughout the land. Two are supposedly twins, while the third is adopted. In order to save the humans, the Grand Wizard must get to the new kids-before the Drow Elves can manipulate their minds and use them, to take the scared relic from human hands. For whomever controls the stick....Controls the universe...."
The familiar figure of their mother comes into view as she gently shook the three tired children awake. They had fallen asleep on the car ride to their new home, South Park. Excitement sparked in Jack, the two twins younger adopted brother. He was eight, while they were nine and a half. "Genevieve and Clayton, can you please help the movers unload the truck? You two can have the first choice of rooms, if you help that is." She offered, a warm smile on her face, that went well with her kind green eyes.
Clayton, the older twin, stretched quietly, taking a moment to yawn before giving a sleepy nod. His sister on the other hand excitedly scooted out of the car, "We're on it Mom!" She exclaimed, grabbing his wrist and dragging him out in the process. The two older children assisted with unloading, while their Mom assisted outside, while also keeping an eye on Jack. Who was running around their new front yard and enjoying the snow.
About half an hour later, all of the family's belongings had been moved into the quaint two story red house. And the rooms had been fought over, and claimed. All of the bedrooms where located on the second floor, two on each side of the hall. And a reasonably sized bathroom at the end. Downstairs their was another bathroom, along with a basement, living room, and kitchen. Their parents had sent them upstairs to decorate and unpack their things, while they took care of some of the stuff downstairs.
Their father, who had a set of neat light brown locks and calm brown eyes, walked over to his wife's side. A content smile on his features. She had lifted a small stack of plates from one of the many boxes when he decided to speak. "Well I think that's everything." He commented, taking another look at the living room. Which was covered in boxes.
"We did it honey. We're really moved in." She agreed, smoothing out her teal green shirt and turning more to face her husband. Nothing but love shining in her eyes.
He nodded, "It's a new beginning for us. Things are finially going to be good." He said, conviction evident in his tone.
For a moment she looked unsure about something, and sighed. Inclining him to put his arm around her shoulders, drawing her closer to him. "Do you think it will be better for them?" She asked worriedly, glancing towards the stairs.
"They won't look for them here. We just need to make sure they don't attract any attention. Come on, let's see how their doing." He suggested, leading her towards the stairs. She followed him after a moment, resting her hand on the rail as she ascended the stairs.
The pair approached Clayton's room, and she gently knocked. "Sweetie, Hon are you all dressed?" Their mother inquired, waiting patiently for a response.
As expected the soft voice of their son answered, "Yeah. Jen's in here to." Clayton called.
With that they entered their child's room, taking in the decorating Clayton had done. Some posters hung on the walls, and a pc was set up in the room. As well as the closet being filled with some darker shades of clothing. "Hey champ, How do you like your new room?" Their Dad asked, testing the waters about how they felt about the move.
