"Come here Kyson," I say to him so I can get him dressed and he just looks at me like I'm not speaking English. God, they weren't lien about terrible twos.
"Hey, little man" Kyree comes in and picks Kyson up. I look at him and smile, he has grown so must over these two years. He let go of the warehouse and tried to give it to Mark aka Killa, but he didn't want it either. They were thinking the same thing, they were both done with that lifestyle. Ron ended up taken it and moved to Mexico with Kami. I miss my girl so much, but I talk to her like every other week. "Have you been good to mommy" Kyree ask Kyson.
"Yessss" Kyson smiles.
"No, he hasn't," I say laughing rubbing my belly. Kyree laughs and puts Kyson down. He walks over and kisses me and kisses my belly.
"3 more months" he rubs my belly.
"3 more"I kiss him. I can't wait to meet our baby girl Janie.
"Come on we got to get ready." He tells me, a year ago Kyree and Mark opened their own barbershop. The barbers are professional but then he has young guys who need extra money and don't live in the best home to help out to get extra cash so they don't have to get it from the streets. They have worked so hard, and I'm so proud. Today is the anniversary.

After we drop Kyson off we go to the venue and it is beautiful. We get out the car and Kyree grabs my hand as we walk in. Walking in to the venue was all positive vibes. We greet people we walk past. We finally make it to the table we are sitting it. I greet Chy and Mark and we begin to talk. As we talk we see Kami and Ron walking towards us. We all greet them with hugs. It feels like a family reunion. Towards the end of the party, Kyree begins to give a speech.
"What a beautiful night, What a beautiful life man. Life has been treating me well these past two years then it has ever. First I want to thank everyone that came out tonight. Secondly, I want to thank my magnificent mom and my beautiful beautiful wife. Thirdly I want to thank my main man Mark and his wonderful wife Chy, without them none of this would have been possible. If you have known me for a long time you would know I wasn't one to be nice, help others out, none of that. I was in a dark place for a very long time after the death of my father and my brother. Then I gain two other brothers Troy and Mark. I lost Troy two years ago with two of my close friends Carmen and Jay. Then the cycle repeated itself. I became so low and just wanted to give up. But I knew I couldn't for one my wife nor my mom wouldn't let me and for two I knew that if I let myself get too low I would hate my self even more. So I changed my life around, got out of what I was doing and opened TCJ Barber Shop. I just one to say one more thing, remember life isn't easy. Don't get so blinded by things that don't matter, stay on the right track. Alright everyone stay beautiful and have a good night." After Kyree is finished everyone is clapping and I a couple tears ran down my face. Life is really a journey, I'm glad I'm getting to spend mine with him and our friends.
