Sip was a little paper origami that was trapped in drama. All it wanted was to float away with something to hold. Sandy was another paper origami that was trapped in drama. All it wanted was to float away with something to hold. Poppy, Sip's and Sandy's owner, didn't let Sip and Sandy get away. Poppy was a five year-old girl who wanted to keep Sip and Sandy for display. Sip and Sandy were only friends to her, but Sip loved Sandy and Sandy loved Sip in real life.
In 1763, Poppy's owners left to Washington State for the summer. Poppy wanted to bring Sip and Sandy, but her parents insisted that she didn't. She didn't say goodbye to Sip and Sandy. She just left Sip and Sandy alone in Maine with paper scattered across the bedroom floor. Sip then came alive and broke out of its case. It let Sandy out and Sip and Sandy jumped out. Papers flew around Sip and Sandy. The papers turned into a little house of Sip and Sandy. Sip and Sandy stepped into the house and it turned into a little sailboat. A gust of wind set Sip and Sandy sailing on the ocean. The wind blew Sip and Sandy away from the house. Sip and Sandy held hands as the wind blew them across the horizon. But an hour later, a huge wave soaked the papers and made Sip and Sandy sink. Sandy fell to the bottom as Sip swam. Sip swam for Sandy as Sandy started to unfold, crinkle, and drown. It was too feeble to swim. Sip saved Sandy and swam it to the nearest land. When Sip and Sandy reached the land and Sip set Sandy on the ground, it spoke.
"Sip... I'm sorry. I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to stay with you... I can't last any longer like this. You must put me together or move on." It said.
"No... I can't leave you. I'm too weak to put you back together. I..." Sip was interrupted by the look in Sandy's eyes as it slowly fell apart. "I must do it." Sip continued.
Sandy smiled and closed its eyes. It fell apart as its pieces blew back to the house. Sip fell on its knees and cried. A piece of paper flew to Sip and it asked, "You don't look okay". Sip shook its head. The paper erased and said, "I was sent by Sandy to send you back". Sip lifted its head.
"What...? How?" It asked.
The paper erased and said, "I am an origami paper called Origami. I am the only origami paper that is waterproof. Form me into something." Sip stood up and smiled. It crafted Origami into a boat. It sailed back to the house as Sandy stood at the deck. They held hands as the wind blew them across the horizon to the sunset.
Sip and Sandy looked at each other and faced each other. Sip and Sandy gave each other a hug as the living paper sailed away from all of Sip's and Sandy's worries and fears. The living paper sailed on the peaceful Atlantic Ocean, as the living papers' next destination is unknown... for now. But for now, Sip and Sandy sail of to nowhere... with each other's company. All Sip and Sandy wanted to do was to float away with something to hold. The living paper is still out there, but no one knows where Sip and Sandy sail together. Sip and Sandy might've sunk, or might still be out there. But, for now, the love of Sip and Sandy lives on forever.
