Chapter One: Malfuntion

Amber's POV

"Okay c'mon Iyahna this game is not THAT scary..." I muttered as I brought out the new game I got from Game Exchange, Resident Evil 6. Admiring the case I hurriedly pulled out the disc practically shoving it into the Xbox 360.

"I mean isn't there a bunch of zombies or whatever that you have to kill in this game?" Natalie said as she picked up the spare controller I had for someone to play with me.

I looked at her as if she had a second head. "Nats this game is REVOLVED around zombies...."

She looked at me embarrassed as she timidly turned on the controller laughing nervously. "I totally knew that pshhhhh....."

I chuckled shaking my head as Iyahna and Tristan sat down while holding a bowl filled with snacks.

Chewing on a piece of a pretzel Tris mumbled, "I don't think Natalie would last a day in this game...."

Hearing this Natalie turned towards Tris with an incredulous look on her face. "Pffttt we all know the zombies wouldn't come after me!!!"

"Why would that be?" Tris asked while looking at her with a questioning gaze.

"Well....because..... I'm simply too cute!!!" Natalie said as she did her best puppy dog eye face with a full on pout.

Iyahna and I burst out laughing as Tristan looked at Natalie sighing before saying, " I see that I would have to save you from zombies if it came down to it...."

" Oh we all know it would be ME saving your asses because I know this game like the back of my hand!!!" I exclaimed as I pressed start on the game clicking on Leon's campaign.

" Why not go for Jake's campaign?" Iyahna said as she looked at me pouting.

"Oh shush I'll get to your lover boy after mine bish!!!" I said shoving her face away from mine in her attempt to sway me from my decision.

Pouting even more she simply crossed her arms going into baby voice mode, " But wifeyyyyyyy I thought you loved me???"

I simply replied with an 'I do' before she started whining again, "If you value this relationship then you'd play Jake's campaign firsttttt."

I stopped tampering with the settings, to make the game easier for Nats since it's her first time, before turning to look at Iyahna, "You haven't even gotten me a ring and you want to talk about valuing a relationship... If you liked it then you should've put a ring on it but apparently you didn't sooooo.... get back to me when you got me a ring."

Grumbling Iyahna took a bite of chocolate from the bowl of snacks while Natalie and I began our journey. I of course played as Leon S. Kennedy aka the love of my life while Natalie played as Helena. After briefly showing her how to shoot, aim, and combat basics we worked our way through the building. Since I've seen this gameplay countless times and played it once at my cousin's house I told Natalie what laid ahead so she wouldn't jump at the simple jump scares.

When we finally reached the scared man looking for his daughter we walked back into the kitchen only for a grate to fall down making Iyahna and Natalie scream.

"SONOFABITCH!!!" Iyahna screamed as she jumped in her seat causing both Tristan and I to laugh.

After the whole ordeal with the daughter we finally got to the elevator only for the daughter to turn into a zombie and eat her dad which I totally called dibs on because I knew it would happen. When the elevator doors opened a small horde of zombies started to fight their way in with me shooting their heads off and Natalie trying to fight off a male zombie.
