(Nobody's P.O.V) With Team Natsu.

Team Natsu were on a mission to clear out a couple Vulcan nests in the southwestern part of Magnolias forest.

(Lucy's P.O.V.)
"Ugh, we've been searching for the same nest for the last 2 hours!" I exclaimed, really rather irritated. I mean, we found the first 2 really quickly and they were cleared out within 20 minutes of being found.
Natsu and Wendy are smelling them but the scent keeps leading to dead ends, as if they just disappeared off the face of Earthland!
"-cy, Lucy!" I hadn't realised I was day dreaming or that I had stopped till Natsu started waving his hand in front of my face and saying my name. "Yes?" I asked, as if I hadn't just stopped for no apparent reason. "You spaced out and stopped, had us worried for a second," Gray can be so kind at times, yet he can also be colder than ice. "Oh? Had I? I didn't really notice, I thought I was still walking," I was trying to play it off without being questioned, but as I had Erza Carla in the group with me I knew it was going to be rather hard, as Erza was already giving me an inquisitive look, and Carla is giving me a rather hard state. "Lucy..." 'oh no, here it comes' "What were you thinking about, it isn't like you too get that distracted," "I really wasn't thinking about anything in particular, just staring off into space," I think I just dug myself a hole that I can't get out of. Oops. "I got a scent! C'mon!" Yelled Natsu, him shooting off, presumably after the scent. 'Oh thank Mavis! That's just like Natsu, unintentionally saving me when in an awkward situation with the others!'

Timeskip brought to you by Happy

We caught up to Natsu a couple of minutes ago, and we're still just following him and Wendy.
" Come on guys! We have to be somewhat close!" "Shush! They're concentrating! Can't you tell!" Carla scolded me in a rather harsh tone. I was taken aback, she isn't usually this cold towards me. "Carla! That was mean!" Wendy said, looking back over her shoulder to look at Carla and I. "... You're right that was a bit unnecessary, I apologise," Carla said looking down a bit, disappointed in herself. "It's alright Carla, don't stress over it," I replied. And then all that could be heard was our footsteps and the birds song...

I hope you enjoy this! Thanks for reading! I'm really happy now!
