CHAPTER FOUR

I got to school and went to go put my books in my locker. On the way I bumped into Nathan kissing some redhead. I'd be lying if I said I'm shocked, as cliché as it is Nate always had girls hanging around him like leeches. I find the fact that he still hasn't been expelled along with his friends and bitches astonishing. Well you see dating isn't allowed at school and quite a number of students have been expelled before for dating at school.

As I reach my locker I put my books in and take my English book out. I head to the toilet to freshen up before class, not before being halted by Becca on the way though.

"Hey,wussup?"

"I don't know, the sky?" I ask a little bit annoyed.

"No need to be Bitchy now" She replied a bit too chirpy for my liking with a smirk on her face.

"You should know that, you know seeing as you have quite a lot of experience in that field" I countered with a smirk of my own.

"Whatever,I just wanted to tell you to stay away from Nate,he doesn't like tramps like you"

"Yeah, he likes them with a side of hoe, I know, now if you'll excuse me I have a toilet to get to"

I guess I caught her off guard because she didn't have a comeback as she scoffed at me and left.

I got to the toilet and did my business. As I went out I realized I was at least 10 minutes late. I ran as fast as I could to Mr West's class, my English teacher, I mean sure he's a nice guy and all and I've seen the ways he looks at girls, but I do t want to test. I open the door and try to enter the class as unnoticeable by him as possible and luckily for me he didn't see me. I head to my desk at the back and sit down. Mr West turns around and looks at me with a raised eyebrow leave he's expecting me to say something.

"Miss Cahill, mind telling me why you're late for my class? "

"No sir" I replied with a bit of attitude.

He looked at me shocked "Oh okay then"

Class carried on and the bell rang for second period and I was the first to leave the class.
I had Math for second period and luckily the whole squad was in that class. I went to my usual seat at the back with Nikki and Drea. Just as I sat down Nikki sent me a disappointed look.

"Lexi you gotta stop being late for school."

"I know, something held me up, I'll tell you guys after school."

"Fine, it better be good and your buying us ice cream."

I still had to figure out how to tell them what in the morning. If you're wondering I tell these girls everything and vice versa, we're practically each others personal diaries.

Bell rang, we had third period and then it was lunch. On my way to my locker I bumped into Hailey by accident and her books fell.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry" she quickly.

"Nah don't be sorry I'm the one who bumped into you, I should be apologizing" I said with a smile whilst helping her pick up her books. Apparently her locker was right next to mine. She looked into my eyes and smiled thanking me for helping her out. For some odd reason I couldn't stop staring at her. She just looked so perfectly perfect with her dimpled smile, red hair and green eyes with the tiniest specs of gold. Although her eyes were beautiful and she was smiling, her smile looked a bit sad and her eyes didn't have that beautiful glow and vibrance in them. But then again who am I to making such statements. There was something about her that made me all happy inside. She was the first to back away from the state 'contest' with a slight blush on her cheeks. I couldn't but smile at her cuteness.

What the fück is wrong with me? I thought to myself.

Well I let that thought slip away as I headed to the cafeteria with my lunch in tow, not before apologizing to Hailey though.

I went to our usual table and took a seat next to Hades, my boy bestie. Now Hades was tall, with a biggish kinda body, he had brown hair that was styled I to a faded quiff and he had a Greek God face with his blue eyes and full pink plump lips. As cliché as this may sound, I have have a huge crush on Hades and we sometimes flirt with each other but I don't want him to know I have a crush on him.

"What took you so long?" Hades asked while taking a bite of my sandwich.

"I bumped into Hailey on my way here" I replied.

"Isn't she that new lesbian with the red hair and green eyes?" Hades asked Nick

Nick simply nodded.

"She's lesbian?" I asked Nick. This boy always seems to know everything about everyone.

"Yeah, the football team guys actually made a bet to see who could bed her first and the winner gets a thousand dollars" he said nonchalantly.

"A thousand dollars? That's a lot"

"Well she's lesbian, it's not gonna be an easy task to do
" This time it was Hades that spoke. Please don't tell me he's also in on this bet. I mean sure he's part of the football team and is a bit of a fuck boy, but it'd really hurt me of he was also part of the bet.

"Hades are you also in on the bet?" I asked not really wanting to hear the coming answer.

"Nah fam" I released a breath I didn't know I was holding and Nikki and Drea both looked at me, "Why are you asking?" he raised his eyebrow at me.

"I just wanted to know" Nikki and Drea scoffed and I sent them the dirtiest of looks and they laughed. I let that awkward moment dissolve as we continued talking with a bit of cheerful banter here and there. The bell rang and that's when I realized I didn't eat at all, so I quickly downed the sandwich as well as a bottle of Oreo milk.

I had chemistry which I shared with Hades so we went to class together. Today we were supposed to be doing am experiment but I guess Mrs Jones changed her mind, because the minute we sat down she shouted pop quiz and a chorus of groans, fùcks and shits made their way around the class. She shushed us all and handed out the quiz. Let me tell it was hard af but I think I got a decent mark, I am clever after all. I smirked to myself at that thought.

"Why are you smirking?" Hades asked.

"No reason, just the fact that I'm smart AF."

He just his rolled his eyes at me and mumbled something along the lines of me being way too cocky for a girl.

"I heard that you dimwit" I said throwing a paper at his head.

Last period rolled by and school was out.

As promised I took Nikki and Drea out for ice cream and told them about the whole Lucas thing which they found odd.
