"Okay Phoenixx. Here's your schedule, I hope enjoy your first day back." Principal smith says handing me my schedule. It was hard for me this morning to leave Zada this morning. She was bawling her eyes out when I left the house. It was so hard to see her so upset. "Thanks. What period is it?" "It's 7th Period. You came in really late Phoenixx it's the last period.." "No, I had to talk to this lady." "Oh right." He says and I look at my schedule. I have AP Psychology. Man. This the one class I don't have with Alexis. I leave the office and walk to my class. I get to my class and knock on the door. "Phoenixx! I'm so happy you're back!" Mrs. Lahr says. I had her last year for AP history. She teaches both. "I miss my daughter tho." "I don't blame you. Have a seat next to Kali." She says pointing to the back. I walk to back and sit next to her. "Are you new?" "No. I got pregnant last year towards the end and had my daughter about 5 months ago and now I'm back." "Oh well I'm Kali. I have a daughter too." "Really? And I'm Phoenixx." "Yes. Her name is Aria. She's 6 months. What's your daughters name?" "Zada, do you want to come over after school and meet her?" "Sure!" She whispers o me. "Girls. Be quiet." Mrs. Lahr says. We slightly laugh and stop talking when class is over, me and Kali wait for Alexis. "YOU'RE BACK!" "Yeah! Wanna come over? Kali's coming over." "I can't. I have to stay after school." She says moaning. "Alight text me hoe." I say as me and Kali leave the school. "She's my best friend." "Figured that. Are you're parents nice?" "Yes. But I don't live with them. I live with my brother and his 5 best friends. I live with 6 boys yay!" "And your daughter lives you right?" "Yes. Her dad does to." "You guys are still together?" "Yes. Are you and Aria's dad together." "Nope. Left me when he knocked me up." She says as we walk towards my house. "Oh I'm sorry. My brother would of murdered my boyfriend if he left." "I say as we get to my house. "Is this your house?" "Yup." I say as we walk inside. "YOU'RE HOME!!" Jc, Connor, Ricky, Sam, Kian and Trevor scream. Connor is holding Zada, but then hands her to me. "Guy this I Kali. She's in my psych class and as a daughter too. Kali this Jc, Connor, Sam, Kian, Trevor, Ricky. And this is Zada." I say showing her Zada. "YOU LIVE WITH O2L?" "Yes. I'm Jc's little sister. And Connor is my boyfriend/Zada's dad." "Oh. My. God." "Huge fan?" "Yes. I love you guy. And One Direction." "I met them." I say and her face goes blank. "No way." "Yup. I'll show you." I say as I hand Zada back to Connor and start to walk towards my room. "Don't you have pictures on your phone?" "Yeah. But my phone is dead." I say as I open my door. I walk over to the picture frames and hand them to her. "Holy shit. You're so lucky! But you don't have a picture with Louis?" "Turn around." I say as I take the pictures out of her hand. She turns around and looks at my walk. "You had it blown up and framed on your wall?" "Yes. Jc did it for me as a present." "When did you meet them?" "Last year. I also met 5sos this year." "Your brother spoils you." "Yeah. I know, he's my legal guardian in California." "Does he help with Zada?" She says as she sits down on my bed. "Oh my god yes. He loves her. The whole house helps." "I wish my mom would love Aria..." "She doesn't love her?" "Nope. My mom hasn't even seen her. My mom kicked me out when I got pregnant. That's why I live in California. My dad lives here." "Where are you originally from?" "Washington." "I'm from Texas. I moved here about 2 years ago." I say as I sit down next her. "Kali, I think your dad is here?" Connor says as he walks into my room holding Zada. "How does your dad know where I live? You just met me?" "He has a tracker in my phone..." She says as she stands up and walk downstairs. "Kali Savannah Kinder. Why the hell are you here with 6 boys? You already have a kid. We don't need a another mistake in our house. We already have two." He screams at her. "I'm sorry dad. I came here with my new friend Phoenixx... She has a kid too." "Well you should of called me! Lets go!!" He screams as he pulls her out of my room. "I'll text you." "Wait who's the two mistakes?" I whisper and she sighs. "Me and Aria.." "LET'S GO!" Her dad screams as he grabs her wrist and starts to twist it. "Ill text you." She says as tears start to fall down her face. Her dad pulls her wrist and slams the door shut. All of a sudden I start to hear loud crying. I open the door and see Kali on the ground. "Kali!" I scream as I run her to her. When I get to her I see her dad walking towards me. "You. Go back to your house now or I'll hit you." He says pointing to me. I quickly run back to my house. "Jc!" I scream as I run upstairs to his room. "What?" "Can you call the cops?" "Why...?" "I think Kali's dad abuses her." "Phoenixx I would call but we have to have proof." "Jc please." "Phoenixx, call Kali and ask her. If he does then we will okay?" "Fine." I say as I walk out of his room and go into mine. I walk over to my charger and take my phone out of it. I look for Kali's number. "Phoenixx you should really come spend time with Zada. I mean you didn't see her all day." I hear Connor say as he walks into my room. "I will later. Where is she?" "Ricky has her." "Okay." I say as I find Kali's number and text her.

To: Kali

Kali. Are you okay? What happened?

From: Kali

My dad was drunk. This happens all the fucking time. He gets drunk and beats me. I'm afraid one day he's gonna hit Aria... He already calls her the second mistake. I really wish my mom would just talk to me and let me move back in with her.

To: Kali

Give me her number. I'll call her and tell her what's happening.

No.. its fine. I mean I want to move back with her but I don't want to live in Washington. I love LA. 😣

I wish you'd be able to stay here with me but we already have 8 people living here.😕

Before I could even text her back my phone dies. I walk over to my charger and put plug my phone in. I then walk over to Ricky's room. I open the door and see him holding Zada's hands and helping her walk. "I swear to god if you let go of her hands and have her try to walk by herself I will murder you." I say as I walk over towards her. "I won't. I'm not that evil." He says as he brings he to me. Ricky lets go of her hands and let her crawl towards me. I pick her up and put her on my lap. "I love you Zada." I say as I kiss her on the cheek. She then starts to giggle. "Phoenixx can I tell you something?" Ricky says playing with his thumbs. "Yeah?" "You're the first person I'm telling Phoenixx." "Okay tell Ricky." "I-I'm gay." He say and I look at him. "What? Really?" "Yes.. I was in your room a couple weeks because I was getting Zada and I was looking at your picture of One direction and you... And I... I.... got you know excited when I saw them...." He says quietly. "Ricky sometimes that happens." "But Phoenixx... I-I have a crush on your brother..." He mumbles and I freeze. "What??!" "Phoenixx you can't tell anybody. You're the only one I've told. I haven't came out to anybody yet." "I promise." I say as i put Zada down. Ricky stands up and gives me a hug. "Thank you." "Jdiddjidjsidj." Zada says as she giggles and lifts her arms up. "You're a weird child." I say as I pick her up and kiss her on the cheek. "Phoenixx did you ask Kali?" I hear Jc say as he walks into Ricky's room. "Yeah, he does. I have a question?" "Yeah?" "Is Sawyer still looking for a roommate?" "Yeah why?" "Can you ask him if Kali and her daughter can move in with him? She really needs out of that house." "I'll ask." He says as he leaves Ricky's room. I look over at Ricky and his face is red. "Ricky your face is red." "I know....." He says standing up and flopping himself on his bed. "Ricky you need to tell the others." "I will when I'm ready." "Okay." I say as I leave his room. I walk into my room and sit down on my bed. I put Zada on my lap and wait for Jc to come into my room.
