Taylor's P.O.V.
I skate around the logo and take off towards the net with the puck. I'm the last one to take a shot in this game. I get closer to flower and fake left and shoot right. Goes in! "Whoo!" I yell. All the guys laugh and shake their heads. "Great work Taylor! Let's see that in tonight's game! Those of you who made it can go. Those of you who didn't. Let's finish this game!" I hurry and change. I walk back out to see Sid taking his turn. He misses. "Flower! Help a friend out man!" Flower laughs and turns to his post. "Good job." I smile. I love that he talks to his post. Sid skates up in front of me. "I lost. Think you can deal with my mexistach?" I laugh. "Mexistach? How did you come up with that? Actually I don't want to know." He laughs. "Well. Answer me question." I smile and pull him to me. "I think it is absolutely sexy on you! Of course I can." He smiles and pulls me by the waist as close as the boards between us will let him. He kisses me which then turns into a makeout session. I hear sticks slamming against the ice and side of the board and pull away. "You have bad timing Sid." All the guys ooh. "Well. Come on! We are going out.. On a date." I smile. I wait for him at his stall while he showers. He comes out completely ready. "Ready?" He asks me. I smile. "Yupp. Got my phone and money. I'm good." He smiles. He grabs my hand and drags me to his car. He made me ride with him to practice this morning so he can take me out later. I pretended to be mad and I have kept it up so far. We get in and I buckle my seat belt and cross my arms in front of my chest. "Again with this? I thought you liked spending time with me." He looks really hurt. "Are you acting or are you really hurt?" He still looks hurt. "I suck at acting." I nod and grab my phone. I text flower.
Me: how good is Sid at acting?
Flower: he sucks at it!
Me: how bad?
Flower: he laughs like crazy.
Me: how do you tell he isn't acting?
Flower: you tickle him. If no response. He is not acting. If he does respond. He is joking.
Me: thanks!
I turn to Sid. He still looks hurt. I start to tickle him but he sits there emotionless. "Flower was right! Why do you think I don't like spending time with you? What tells you that?" He shrugs. Then he brushes his hands through his hair in frustration. "You ignored me the whole way here! Now you won't even hold my hand!" I smile. "What is so funny about this? You like doing this to me?" I shake my head no and his face softens. "Then what is it?" I begin laughing. "I should get an award for best actor! I'm not mad. I was just kidding. It hurts me to see you hurt like that Sid." He leans forward and kisses me then pulls away. "I honestly thought you were going to break up with me. I couldn't handle that because I-" he cuts himself off. "You what?" He lightly smiles. "I know we have only been dating for like two weeks now. But Taylor. I love you." My heart leaps in my chest. I feel butterflies dancing in my stomach. "I love you too Sid." He smiles and pecks my lips. "Okay. Let's go to our first destination!" He pulled out of the parking lot and headed somewhere. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and rolled down my window. I turned the radio on and put it on country. "A women like you" came on by lee Brice. I began singing and dancing. We were in the city and people were giving me weird looks. When it finishes Sidney turns it down and I look at him. He smiles. "That song is so true." I laugh. "Yupp. I know! I am a sexy beast and you just can't live with out me." I roll my eyes and take his hand. He brings them up to his lips and kisses my hand. "You have no idea how much I love you Taylor. If I could, I would take you right now.." His words drifted off and his face turns bright red. "Did I really just say that?" I laugh. "Yupp. If I was ready I would let you turn the car around." He smirks. "Can I turn the car around?" I smile evilly. "Nope. We are going on a date and I'm not exactly that ready yet. Where are we going anyways?" He smiles. "Here." We pull into a parking space in front of the mall. I groan. "I HATE shopping!" He smiles. "Well. We have to get you something's. Come on." He gets out and gets my door. I get out and take his hand. We walk in and he drags me to the most expensive dress store. "No Sid! I am not getting a dress!" He smiles. "You need one. Graduation! I got specific orders on what kind of dress so I will find one that fits the guide lines and if you like it, try it on!" I groan again. "Fine! If I have to." He nods. "You do!" I shake my head and we walk in the rest of the way. "Hi! How can I help you two?" Sid smiles. "We got it. By thank you!" She nods her head and walks away. He pulls me to a rack of dresses and holds some up. They are all ugly. I look over at another rack and see a dress. I hold it up to Sid. "Would this work?" He looks at it and his eyes go wide. "Go try that on!" I laugh. "Fine. Come on!" I pull him over to the lady. "Can I get a room to try this on?" She looks me up and down. "Do you know how much that costs? The dresses that are in sale are over there." She smirks and turns the other way. Sid goes to say something but I stop him. I hand him the dress and turn back to the lady. "Excuse me. Do you know who I am? Or him?" She looks at us and shakes her head no. I smirk. "Have you heard of the Pittsburgh Penguins?" She nods her head. "Good. That is their captain and I am their new player! I just got out of practice and the fact that you judge someone by what they are wearing just shows your character. By the way. I love the bracelet. Five dollars at Walmart am I right?" Her eyes widen and she nods her head yes. "You see. Don't judge some one and make them feel so low when you are just as equal as them. I should call your boss and explain how you treated me and probably a lot of other costumers. So, I need a room to try this dress on." She runs to the dressing room and unlocks one. I turn to Sid and see him smirking. "We will talk about this later." He nods his head and I take the dress and walk in. I try it on and walk out. Sidney doesn't take his eyes off of me. "T...that...is..wow! It is sold!" I laugh and nod. I walk back in the dressing room and look at myself in the mirror. The dress is long and flowy. It is strapless and It has heart cut at the top. It is gold sequence at the top and fades into black wich then fades into gold. It is short in the front and long in the back. I looks good on me. I have just the heels for it. I take it off and walk out to the front lady. I out it on the counter and she rings it up and puts it in a bag. I go to pull my money out but Sid swipes his card. "Sidney Patrick Crosby you did not just do that!" He smiles and pecks his treat. "My present to you. There is more to come." I roll my eyes. "I have money you know. I could have bought it." He shakes his head, "too late. And besides, I love buying you stuff." I smile. "Okay. Thank you! But. I get to buy you a few new things too! Okay?" He nods his head and I grab the bag. He pulls me out of the store and takes me to a jewelry store. He sets me outside. "Wait here. Sign autographs or whatever." I nod my head and he runs inside of the store. A few kids come up to me and I sign autographs and take a few pictures. Sidney returns with a bag. I go to take it but he folds it and puts it in his pocket. "Tonight." I nod my head. He takes my hand and I pull him into Zumies. "I won't look good in anything in here." I smile. "Oh yes you will! Look." I walk to the back of the store where I find a shirt with the Canadian flag. I find his size and hold it up. "What about this?" He smiles. "Sold!" I laugh and we walk to the cash register. "Will this be it?" The lady asks. I think. "Do you got a couple stickers I can have?" She nods her head and smiles. She throws some stickers on the bag and I pay. She hands me the bag and smiles. "Have a nice day! And by the way. I'm a HUGE fan." I smile. "Thanks!" She nods her head and we walk out, "where to next?" I ask Sid. As if on cue, my stomach growls. He laughs. "I guess we eat!" I nod my head and we get something to eat then go how and take a nap for the game tonight.
