Victor was your best friend and comforted you when your boyfriend Patrick went missing. He helped you move out of the city into your own apartment after Patrick's body was found and you had no reason to be in Derry anymore.
You and Victor were in the truck, he drove while you stared out the window still trying to come to terms with what happened to the love of your life. Once you pulled into the parking lot of your apartment you felt a cold sensation down your back, this wasn't home and nothing ever will be since Patrick is gone.
Victor interrupted your train of thought, "Y/n, I know this is gonna be hard," you laughed at his remark. "No shit it's gonna be hard, I lost the love of my life and I had to leave our town because everything I did was reminding me of him and I still can't accept he's gone!" You nearly yelled at him.
His face softened as he placed his hand on your shoulder, "I'm sorry, I just, I don't wanna do this without him." Tears rolling down your cheeks as you thought about Patrick, Victor reached over and hugged you hoping to help you calm down. "Let's get you settled and then we will go get food, alright?" He asked, you nodded as you wiped the tears away.
As you began to bring your boxes into the apartment you noticed there was a tall mirror in-between two windows, just like Patrick liked his room. You chuckled as the thought of Patrick getting frustrated about where the mirror should be for perfect lighting, you took out the picture of him in your pocket and tucked it in the corner of the mirror.
You noticed yourself in the mirror, your eyes were bloodshot and your hair was a mess as some tears made some baby hairs lay flat on your skin, "You're perfect," you heard a familiar voice say. Maybe it was Patrick in the back of your mind, he would always tell you that when you freaked out over your appearance. As you walked out the door you could see someone leaning against the wall in the corner of your eye,
"Patrick?" You whispered to yourself, suddenly the picture you put on the mirror fell off and slid to your feet. "Victor!" You screamed, running out the door, "He's here!" You yell to him, he looks at you with complete confusion written all over his face.
You grabbed his wrist and brought him into the apartment and pointed to the picture on the ground, "I tucked the picture on the corner of the mirror, it couldn't have fallen this far! Patrick is here!" Tears began to sting your eyes. "Y/n, your being delusional," he pat you on the shoulder.
He grabbed the picture and put it back on the mirror, you saw his face turn white when he looked straight into his reflection, "Victor?" You stepped close to him. "Patrick, he's behind me." He whispered, "I told you!" You screamed as you ran towards the mirror and saw Patrick standing there with the same clothes he had on when he went missing.
You cried even harder now but out of happiness, "Hi baby" you chocked out, "Hi, my love." You heard him say. You wanted to run back and hug him, as you turned he wasn't there. You felt something warm on your hips, you looked back to see Patrick standing right behind you with his hands on your hips. "Whenever you want to see me, just look into a mirror."
He whispered into your ear, you closed your eyes and could smell the cologne he would always wear, he knew you liked that certain scent. "I miss you so much, babe" you smiled at him, "I'm here now, love" you heard the door slam and saw Victor outside on his phone, "Victor, what are you-" "Henry and Belch are on their way, they wanna see this." He interrupted you, you looked back to Patrick shrugging his shoulder,
"Bring them, I don't care, but I wanna be alone with you tonight," he said as he nuzzled his head into your neck. "Is this the only mirror I can see you in?" You asked concerned. "You can see me in any mirror, I'll always be with you." He smiled at you.
A few minutes later you heard the door swing open, Henry and Belch walked in and looked around, "Where is he?" Henry asked with a frustrated face, "Look into the mirror," you stepped back and saw Henry's face softened as his best friend stood between him and Belch.
Patrick explained everything to them, you then saw 3 tough bullies make their peace with their best friends death, you did as well as you knew he would always be with you in spirit, literally. That night you had a mirror next to your bed and saw Patrick fall asleep spooning you, that's when you knew he was never gone. He was your home. This was a dream I had last night and I had to write about it! More things happened but I can't remember everything, I hoped you enjoyed this, if you have any ideas or requests let me know. I hope you hear from you soon! I'll see you later! Buh Bye! 💗
