Chapter Twenty Six

There was a noise coming from somewhere but where? I opened my eyes and came face to face with Chase. He was snoring but it was a small, quite, peaceful snore. I moved my arm that was free and touched his cheek. He opened his eyes "are you kidding me, I have to yell and yell and you don't wake up but when I bearly touch your face you wake up" he laughed.

"Yeah" I groaned. I sat up and I was straddling Chase, in my gown. He smirked "oh shut up" he laughed "sorry if I was born with a dirty mind" I rolled my eyes. I grabbed my phone from the table, it was 6:28. "It's only 6:28" I said with a groan. "Really?" I nodded. I looked around the room, same flippen room, I wish I was in Chases room.

"When do I go home?" He shrugged "I don't know" I nodded "your still useless" he laughed. He put his hands behind his head, "wait where's my phone?" He asked. I looked around and saw it on the chair. "There" he sighed "can you grab it?" I nodded but stopped.

"Wait no I'm not!" He looked confused "why?" I looked at my gown "if I turn around I flash and that's a big no!" He smirked "but I need it, come on for me" I shook my head. "Please" I still shook my head. "Come on" I shook my head. "I won't look?" I raised my eyebrow "you wont?" He nodded.

He closed his eyes and I twisted around, I grabbed his phone then went on it. He was texting some girl named Kelly. He turned around and grabbed his phone. "Who's Kelly?" I asked "a friend" I raised an eyebrow "she my sisters friend" I crossed my arms over my chest. "Fine, we were planing a secret birthday party for Candace and we were texting what we should do, ok?" I looked at the phone then him "if you want you can check the messages?" I shook my head "no I trust you" he smiled.

"Good because I wasn't lying" I nodded. "I really do love that tat" huh??, then it hit me, he looked. "You looked!" He shrugged "glanced, there's a difference" I hit him. "Oww" he yelled "pervert" I said. He laughed "your pervert" I smiled but wiped it off my face. "You smiled, I saw that"

I turned my head away from him. He sat up and I moved with him but I was still straddling him. "Come on, you smiled" I still didn't look at him. He put his hands on my upper thighs and I faced him. "Yes, got you to look" I groaned. He pulled me towards him more and kissed my cheek.

He moved from my cheek to my neck, shoulder then back on my neck. "Chase?" He stopped and looked at me. "Yes?" I looked at him "why do you like me, Sorry love me?" He looked at me then down at the floor. "Um, I don't know. Your beautiful, funny, sweet when you want to, easy to talk to, um" he paused "I don't know, just from the friendship we have has grown and well I love you" I am lost for words. Wow, I wasn't prepared for that. I just sat the shocked.

I think he answered the question well. "Ryder?" Huh? I looked up "yeah?" I responded quietly "did I answer the question?" I nodded. "Yeah but why me out of all the girls in the world, plus not one your age?" He smiled "because my heart fell for you and age is a number" aww, my heart is melting.

I looked at my hands, "you?" I looked up puzzled "why do you love me and out of the guys you went for me?" I looked down. I would tell you but I don't know myself. "I don't know" was what I said. "I'll tell you when I know myself" I said, he laughed. "Ok"

The door opened, both our heads turned to our parents, both mums and dads. I gulped and turned around so my back was facing Chase. I didn't want my parents and his to see my back half naked. "Well I wasn't prepared for that" Martha said. "Hi my mum" I said biting my bottom lip.

"Hello" she said back. "Ok this is awkward in so many ways" Philip said. I looked at Chase and mouthed 'sorry' he raised an eyebrow 'why?' I looked at the parents 'I'm sitting on you, partly naked' he laughed and everyone looked at him like he was crazy.
