Change in plans

Casey's POV:

"Don't stop, doing what your doing what your doing, and every time you move to the beat it gets harder for me and you know it, know it, know it" I turn my alarm off and go to get in the shower. Once I'm done in get ready and blow dry my hair and put it into a messy bun. I go down stairs and into the kitchen to start eating breakfast. "Casey when schools over, youll have some time to yourself then as a' field trip' Me, you, Elton, and Sam are going to the Abandoned Hospital again, this time we are exploring the houses. Make sure to wear dark clothing and yes we are going to give you a mask." Colby said giving me a bowl of lucky charms. "is it really a field trip if theres a camera dad?" I asked taking a bite. "I'm only recording it because 1: I record every time we do something like this and 2: its part 3 to the abandoned hospital." He said. "Its just gonna be the 4 of us right?" I asked with a mouth full of lucky charms. "Yeah, we are just going to explore the houses though so don't worry about going into the hospital again." He said. I felt a wave of relief go through me. "Good because that hospital freaked me out." I say taking one more bite of my lucky charms. "Well go brush your teeth and get to class." He says taking my bowl and throwing the rest away before cleaning the bowl. Once I get upstairs I realize that I never checked who my 2 new followers were. I quickly check and see that one is Stiles and the other one is Colby. I follow them back and brush my teeth. I grab my backpack and headphones then head to English. I go down downstairs and find sam in the kitchen. "I wasnt expecting you to finish the book until like next week, so you'll be taking the quiz friday so have tomorrow and the day after to go through and take notes, unless you finish the last set of questions right now and get started that would leave you with 3 days of taking notes. Also im pretty sure Colby said this to you like a little bit ago but he said everyone has to remind you so you dont forget, wear all black tonight." he says then walks into the game room and sits on the couch. I take out my laptop and start to finish the questions. After that I tell Sam that im done and he tells me that he wants me to take notes on paper so that way when im taking the quiz he doesnt have to worry about me getting distracted on my computer.

"ok so today we are going to draw a turtle. It can be drawn any way you want, i need to talk to you though." Dad says. "OK, is there anything you want to talk to me specifically?" I asked taking a pencil and a blank paper out. "Yeah about your little brother and you going back to school, i forgot to mention that you can get your laptop out if you need to look at a picture." He says taking a seat next to me. Ok this must be important, he usually sits on my bed until im done or until class ends. "ok." Is all I say. I start to draw the shell of the turtle as he starts to speak. "Why didnt you tell me you had a little brother?" He asked. I keep drawing but answer. "I dont know, I dont really talk about him much. He was adopted by a nice couple and I havent seen him since. He's only twelve, he was adopted when he was 10." I say quietly. I hate and love the day he was adopted. When we were put in the adoption center he made me promise him that I wouldnt let anyone adopt him without me and me without him. The people who adopted him were a nice couple and I only let him go because I wanted to have a good family instead of staying

*Flashback*

"Casey dont let them take me I dont wanna leave you!" Ashton yells holding onto me. "I know I promised you but please go with them, they'll give you a good life." I say hugging him tighter. "I dont care! I only want to be taken if you are to! Please!" He holds onto me for dear life. I bent down to his height and wiped away his tears but they kept coming. "I love you ash. I promise ill find you. Dont forget that. I love you." I say and kiss his cheek him holding onto me again crying even harder. "Stay right here I need to talk to them." I say and sit him on the couch. I walk over to them and ask if I can speak to them for a second. "He doesnt wanna go without me, but I have an idea." This hurts so much. "stay here for a bit longer, I'll tell him you guys changed your mind. He'll want to take a nap but he's a heavy sleeper so when he falls asleep Ill take him to the car and then you guys can go." Kill me. "Thank you honey. We're sorry about taking him away. We can see this is soo painful for you, Your a brave little girl." The woman says. "Your welcome, but i'll do anything to get him out of this place. I love him too much and he needs to be adopted by good people. I should be the one saying Thank you. so Thank you so much. When he wakes up he'll be scared for life but just give him pizza, a stuffed koala, and a picture of me and he should be alright. Every night he likes to be sung to, and tell him that you love him and that I love him and I'll see him soon. You should know he's a little slow at everything so be patient with him and dont yell at him too much he hates it and he'll start crying. His favorite thing to do is listen to 5 seconds of summer and he loves the drums. Please take good care of my baby brother. I cant take it if I lose him too." I say trying very hard to break down. They nod feeling bad. I walk back over and make sure that they go into the office. "They changed their mind, you got lucky. You missed a chance Ash, you could've had a good life." I say and place him on my lap. Im gonna miss him. "I know but I dont wanna leave you. Your all I have." He said resting his head on my shoulder. "Take a nap, im not going anywhere." But you are. "fine." He closes his eyes and holds my hand. Im lucky hes a heavy sleeper.
