Darkness

This darkness around me I can't escape it

It's suffocating

Smothering my breath

Crushing all my hopes and dreams

Killing me slowly from the inside out

There is a flash of silver

A light of hope

Fading away quickly

I can't run away

It won't let me go

Won't let me breathe

I'm fading away into this eternal darkness

Such misery that surrounds me

I'm fading with the darkness

Consuming me slowly

Painfully taking my sanity

Leaving no remains
