A Mother's Love

A mother holds his son's hands for a while,

and holds his heart for a Lifetime....

"Your mom is DUMB!"

"I can't take it anymore. I hate my life. why do I have a mom that can't understand me? I hate her..."

Jayson is a 13 year old boy who hates his mom so much. he's been bullied by his classmates saying that his mom is dumb.

Jayson and his mom is not that rich. his mom works and sells noodles in the neighborhood. that's the only work his mom can do because his mom has a disability.... his mom is deaf.

everyday, Jayson's mom takes him to school and picks him up after class.

(*sign language*)

"Have a good day son! always remember, mama loves you so much!"

Jayson ignored what his mother told him and quickly go inside the school building.

eventhough jayson did that, the mother tries to smile and happily go home and start her work.

"Jayson! why is your mom so dumb? hahahaha!"

his classmates always tease him every single day. some of his classmates put a piece of paper on his back that says "your mom is DUMB!" and some writes on the blackboard saying the same thing.

"Why do I need to carry the shame she gives me? Why did God gave me a mom who can't speak, who can't hear... who can't understand me?"

Jayson said it to himself while his tears are falling down.

Jayson is often called at the principal's office because he's always been fighting with his classmates.

(*sign language*)

"You really work hard madam"

(*sign language*)

"Yes, ofcourse! I want to make my boy happy."

the mother works hard to be able to save money and to purchase their daily needs.

Days passed.. It's Jayson's birthday.

The mother saved enough money to buy Jayson a birthday cake.

After she bought the cake, she sat on the dining table with the cake in front of her and started to practice reciting her speech to her son that is written in a piece of paper.

It's 8:00 in the evening and Jayson is still on his room and he doesn't want to go out yet. He is crying and saying

"If I only had a mom who isn't like her. If I only had a mom who can speak, a mom who can hear, a mom who isn't dumb. God! Why did you gave me a mom like her? Why didn't you gave me a normal and perfect mom like others have? Why God? Why? I'm tired. I hate my classmates! I hate the world! I hate my mom! I hate...... Me....."

Jayson feels that he had enough of his life and he's tired of it. He saw his mom's sewing kit and found a blade...

"I'm tired..."

After saying these words, Jayson cut his wrist and painted.

The mother who is still practicing her speech, felt a very strong shake on their wooden floor like something big fell on the ground.

She started to be nervous and she started to panic. She tries to open her son's room but the door is locked. She quickly look for the key, and luckily she found it and opened the door.

The mother don't know how to ask help from the neighbor because there's no one outside and she isn't able to shout for help.

The mother carried Jayson to the hospital running.

They reached the hospital and the nurse brought the poor boy to the emergency room..

(*sign language*)

"Doctor, please save my son. I have saved money... I have a house! You can take it... Just please, save my son! I'm begging you...."

The mother cries and cries and beg for the doctor to save her son.

The doctor wrote on his notebook saying....

"Your son needs a lot of blood mam."

while crying, the mother said to the doctor,

(*sign language*)

"Take me! Take my blood! Transfer it all, just save him doc.. Save my son!"

The doctor and nurses quickly prepared for the blood transfering needs.

Hours passed...

The blood transfering is successful.

Jayson, woke up and saw his mother on his side.

His tears fell off while he holds his mother's hand.

The doctor gave him a piece of paper.

"Your mother told me to give this to you before the blood transfering procedure. She told me to give this to you when you wake up."

The doctor give the letter and left the room.

The letter that the doctor gave him is the letter which his mom is reciting... His mother's birthday speech for him...

Jayson read the letter...

While reading the letter, his tears are continously falling...

And this is what the letter says:

Jayson, my son. I'm sorry if I am like this. I was born deaf. But you know what? Eventhough I can't speak, I can tell you how much I love you thru sign language. I know I can't hear you with my ears, but I can hear you with my heart. I'm sorry because you carry the shame I gave you. I missed the things we do when you were so little. You do everything just to make mama smile. I missed the moment you said "Mama I love you"....I missed you son. I'm sorry because mama is deaf. But son, jayson, mama loves you so much.. Eventhough I'm not like the other mothers that are normal, mama can give you her life because I love you son, that's how much mama loves you. Happy Bithday son. Always remember, mama loves you so much!"

There are no perfect thing in this world. There's no such thing is a perfect parent...

But some parents give everything for their child/(ren) even their life just for their child to be perfect...
