Belonging to a family of witches is the best thing that could have happened to me. It's fun to cast spells and ruin 'normal' people's fun.
My parents used to be one of the best witches but now they are 'retired'. Not like they don't still cast spells about and jinx things like our neighbor, old Mrs Griffin. They'd jinx her lawn mower and the machine would drive itself, leaving the poor old lady confused.
But the Witch Community still watch their every move and sometimes, ground them. Imagine. It's good to let parent get a taste of their own medicine especially my parents because when they ground you, they literally ground you. They'd freeze you so you won't be able to move any part of your body. Totally harsh. But other than that, being a witch is really slick.
We have this hall of fame sorta thing where we honour our best of the best witches. One day, I hope to be on that wall as the best witch. The Coven told me I have to perform 12 good deeds and graduate to being a level five presently, I'm at level two and I've performed one good deed. But I don't think saving a falling cat would count as a good deed. But I still lookout for any opportunity to be a witch and to graduate to the next level, you have to pass a series of tests. The test is taken once every two years and you have to be twelve and above to take it.
There's actually a school for witches but my sis and I don't go there. It's hidden and you have to be a witch or supernatural being to see it. It's located in Mysticville, where all the supernatural creatures live away from normal people. But we live in Edenville now. We moved here to live a normal life but being a witch, living a normal life is not easy. We are sometimes tempted to prank people. Oh, what fun.
The whole supernatural realm exists. Wendigoes, vampires, werewolves and the rest all exist. OMG!!! I have zero tolerance for Wendigoes. Vampires steal blood from banks to satisfy their thirsts. And werewolves are just a mystery.
Life in Edenville is great. I have friends. A boyfriend. Things are working out for me. Only when Kayla is actually around me do I flop things. I am someone who believes everything happens for a reason. Like this morning for example, early this morning I dowsed myself in milk, but I'm sure kayla's responsible for it. I ran upstairs to change and there she was, in my room sitting comfortably on my bed. She must have zapped herself up here. What a witch.
"What are you doing here, Kayla? Stealing my stuff?" I was trying really hard not to shove her out of my room.
"What's up, Katy? I don't think you have anything in here worth stealing. All you have in here are trashy clothes and junk makeup." I know she was trying to annoy me. Good thing I had self-control or else I would have bitten her.
"Then what do you want?"
"Just came here to taunt you a little. You should try taunting sometimes. It's fun"
"Just get out."
"You know, you don't deserve Brandon. And let me give you a heads up. I'm gonna try everything I can to take him from you."
That's it. You can bad mouth me but you can't threaten to steal my boyfriend. I literally kicked her out. I shoved her out and kicked her butt before closing the door. I heard her scream 'oww' and she ran down to tell on me. I could care less about what she did. I felt satisfied after kicking her butt.
Brandon has been the best thing that ever happened to me since we moved to Edenville. I'm practically obsessed with him. The idea of him breaking up with me someday is just disturbing.
We met in gym class when I completely humiliated myself while doing pulls ups. I accidentally ripped my gym pants. Brandon had a spare and lent it to me. He rescued me with his blonde hair and icy blue eyes. What a hunk!!! We started hanging out three days later and he always carried spare pants. Just in case. What a gentleman. But with our relationship threatened by jelly Jenny, I have to keep him closer.
I ran downstairs after changing to give my parents my own side of the Story but they were out.
"Where is mom and dad?" I asked Kayla.
"The hospital. Mom fainted." She answered back without and rude remarks.
"What happened?"
I didn't get a reply this time. She just took her jacket and left leaving the question hanging in the air. How rude. Typical Kayla.
I phoned Dad and luckily everything's fine. Apparently, he had good news for us. I picked up my purse and headed out. I was supposed to meet my friends Rachel and Isabelle.
