I reached Delish just in time. Rachel and Isabelle were already there with Bella, Isabelle's baby sister. She's supposed to be babysitting her.
I met Rachel and Isabelle two years ago when I just arrived to Edenville high. We immediately became best friends. Rachel's a fashionista. She loves dress up a while Isabelle is conservative. She won't buy things unless they are really necessary.
"Hey, girls. Hey, Bella. Have you been here for a long time? I'm really sorry for the holdup. It's all Kayla's fault. She... " I was interrupted by Isabelle.
"Chill, girl. We just got here ourselves. So relax, babe." Isabelle spoke slowly.
"So, what's up? What do you want to tell us?"
"You won't believe the nerve of Kayla. She literally told me to my face that she's gonna snatch my man from me." I was fuming as I told them was transpired in my room earlier.
"Calm down, Katy. She really said that?" Asked Rachel.
"Of course she said it. Would Katy lie to us? What did you do to her? Isabelle was out of breath.
"I shoved her out of my room and kicked her butt. Right in the middle." I demonstrated what I said.
"You should have done worse. If I were you, I'd have shoved her down the toilet. Then flush. Twice." That was Isabelle. She's really intense.
"Can that really happen?" Rachel asked confused.
"Of course not, Rachel. I was just exaggerating." Isabelle was literally yelling.
"Guys. Man-thief, 6 o'clock." Rachel warned us.
I turned around only to see Kayla and her friends walking towards us. OMG!!! Time for things to heat up. I might even break some chairs on her back. That'll be fun.
"Well... Well... Well. If it isn't my sister and her losers. What are you guys doing here? Here for scraps? Because I know you're broke and can't afford a simple veggie Burger."
"Really, Kayla. I thought you were better than that. Why don't you crawl back to your little black hole?" Isabelle replied for me because I'm not good at trash talking.
"Zip it, Isabelle. You should know your place. Come on, guys. Let's get outta here." With that, she left with her 'friends'.
"What was that all ab..." I was interrupted by a phone call from... Brandon.
"Hey, Brandon!"
"Hey, babe!" Thought we could hang out later today. You know, at my crib. It's been long we hung out." He was practically begging me.
"I'm kinda busy today. Maybe tomorrow."
"Okay, babe, I'll be counting down the minutes. Love you."
"Love you." I hung up.
I could see the girls watching me mockingly.
"What?"
"Babe, Brandon is tots into you. You don't have to worry about silly Sally's threat. No one can break you guys up." Rachel reassured me.
"Rachel's right, Katy. That boy loves you." Isabelle added. "And if you still feel insecure, you can just cast a spell to make her disappear."
I had already told my besties about me being a witch. I had to. They were gonna get in trouble with Mr. Sanchez, the history teacher. They forgot to do their assignment and I just casted a spell to make Mr. Sanchez sick. And they caught me. So I confessed. They we're so happy I was a witch. Since that day, they've always had problems they need my help with.
"I can't do that. She's my sister. And she's just being childish and immature."
"Whatever you say, Mother Theresa. If I were a witch like you, I would..."
"Ssshhhh." I cautioned her. "Be careful what you say. You don't know who's a witch around. I still haven't told the coven about telling you guys my secret."
"Sorry." Isabelle apologized.
"Hey, I think Bella is hungry." Rachel notified us. Bella was chewing her dress.
"Sorry, sweetie. Your sister loves gossip more than you." I joked.
"Haha. Very funny. Waiter!!!"
A waiter came running as fast as he could.
"Your order?"
"Yes. We'd liked two plates of fries, a burger, a plate of steak and four bottles of coke, please."
"Coming right up." And he took off.
"OMG. That waiter is so cute. I just wanna cuddle him." Rachel looked dreamy.
"Oh, Rachel. I don't think he'd like girls who dye their hair red." Said Isabelle.
"Sshh. Here he comes." Rachel tugged at our hair.
"Here are your orders. Anything else?"
"How about you?" Rachel was flirting with the waiter.
"Um..." He looked confused. He was saved by another customer yelling for his order. He ran like a frightened mouse.
"You scared him away, Rachel." Isabelle sounded upset.
"You like him too, don't you?" Rachel asked.
"Maybe a little. Let's forget about that. So..." My phone started ringing. It was dad.
"Hey, dad. What's up?"
"Katy, I need you home right now. I have good news. Hurry up." Dad was out of breath. He probably had real good news this time. The last time dad had good news, it was about him finding his jazz music collection. I thought I his that thing very well.
"Hey, guys. I gotta go. My dad's waiting for me. Bye." On that note, I took off. Wonder what good news Dad has to say.
