"Goodbye, Phillip, it was a fun game while it lasted."

My body froze and became rigid with the cold words spoken only inches behind me. I turned slowly almost like a robot that has been left to rust in the rain. If my body were to make a sound it would be an eerie screech of metal upon metal. My face took on what I can only imagine as a completely horrified expression. William stood in front of me bending down slightly so his lilac hair brushed my pale cheeks. His mouth curled upwards into a scary sadistic smirk that made my whole body freeze like it was propped up in the middle of a blizzard. His calloused hands quickly moved for the switchblade now laying on the hard ground. I couldn't move as he laughed and laughed.....and laughed.

It rung in my ears as I fell backwards, pain shooting outwards from my heart into my entire body. It rung in my ears as my head hit the ground, my eyes looking past everything toward the lake. It rung in my ears as the world faded in and out like the throbbing, burning pain that seemed to constrict my body like a python. It rung in my ears even as my eyes rolled back and the world finally went black and I couldn't feel anymore.

Then I couldn't hear it anymore either, I couldn't hear anything.
