Escape

•Flashback•
(Half an hour before Hayate bringing Joshua to the house.)

         I hear ringing in my ears as I attempt to get up. I couldn't move. I wasn't in the chair anymore but I was tied up. My right arm was behind my back tied to my left ankle. And my left arm was behind my back tied to my right ankle. I tried getting up but my legs were in pain. I couldn't walk. I try to crawl. I am successful but I'm also really slow. I head over to the box that was in the corner to try and find a way to cut the ropes. While I crawl I hit something. A beer bottle. My eyes widen with happiness. I grab the bottle with my mouth and throw it to the wall. The sound of shattering glass fills the room. I crawl again heading to where I threw the bottle. As I crawl I accidentally cut my self with a piece of glass. Instead of focusing on the cut I grab the glass and start to cut myself free.

         Once I finish I try to stand only to fall back down. I resort to crawling again. I crawl towards the door and open it. I was surprised he didn't lock it. As I crawl up the stairs I look around for a way to escape. I check every window and door but they're all locked. I try to break the window but the window seems to be so thick it won't break. I start to hear voices.

'I will be able to escape when he opens the door. I need to hide.'

        As the door gets unlocked I hide behind the wall that's next to the door.

"Come on in. (Y/n) is just down the hall."

"T-Thank you."

        I know that voice. It's Joshua. I peek behind the wall and see Hayate getting ready to knock Joshua out. I use all the stress got to go I had left and ran towards Hayate. I grabbed onto him and made him fall backwards. I start to shake once I realized what I've done. He then turns around with an angry expression on his face.
