Chapter 33: The trip

“Louis? What about the others?” 

“I already called Liam and they all agreed on coming but I told him that we already left so they’ll be there first time tomorrow”

“But we’re just leaving?” I looked at him puzzled.

“Yes but I don’t want everyone asking me about Hannah and the break up and I really need your advice… I need someone to talk” He said embarrassed

“Oh well that’s not a problem but I don't have any clothes”

He laughed. “Good, good and don't worry your friends are going to bring you some clothes.”

“Oh okay...Where are we staying?” I said looking out the window.

“My mom’s house”

“Wait…you’re mom’s house?”

“Yeah I’m from Doncaster and I grew up there”

“Aww...but do you think she’s fine with a bunch of teenagers staying over in her house?”

“Well technically the gang has to rent hotel rooms because there’s not enough room for all of them… just for…hmmm…like 3…I have a bunch of baby sisters so yup.”

“Oh but don’t you think…” -He cut me off.

“I’ll ring her and you’ll see that she’s fine with it”

He got out his phone and put it on speaker.

“Ello? Boo bear?”

I smiled and giggled.

“Hello? Mom, how are you?”

“I’m grand and you lovely?”

“Same…you’re on speaker by the way.” 

“Oh are you with Hannah dear? Hi Hannah when are you coming to visit the girls, we miss you!”

Louis cleared his throat and sighed.

“No mom, Hannah’s not with me. We…uh…we broke up…again”

“Aww sweetheart I’m sorry! What happened?”

“We’ll talk about it when I get there, okay?”

“You’re coming over?”

“Yes, yes I am mom. And I’m actually coming with someone right now. My friend Emma”

“Emma? What a lovely name”

“Thank you” I giggled shyly.

“That was Emma mom! She’s nervous because she thinks you won’t be fine with her staying in our house!” 

“Oh but that’s ridiculous, of course I’m fine with Emma staying over”

“Okay thanks mom, tomorrow a couple of friends will be staying as well”

“More? MAGNIFICENT”

“Yes more” Louis laughed. “Well I guess I’ll see you in a couple of hours! Bye mom, love you”

“Love you more! Drive safely.”

He hung up.

“Aww that was so cute”

“See? I told you she was fine with it.”

I laughed “Yeah you were right”

I got my phone out of my pocket while Louis kept driving humming the song we were listening in the radio, I checked my phone to see what was going on.

I had three messages.

First message:

From: Niall

“You and Lou left out of nowhere we were scared to death!!! I’ll see ya tomorrow! Drive safely :)xx”

I smiled.

“Sorry leprechaun…something came up…you’ll find out 2morrow. Sorry I left u alone with them…u must be so scared lol;)”

I checked my other two messages, one was from Lindsey and the other one was from Harry.

I replied Linds’ message fast and opened Harry’s message.

My heart was beating so fast.

‘I know you’re mad at me but it wasn’t my fault. She was flirting with me and I even talked to Niall to tell him that and he forgave me. Please please forgive me.x”

‘He actually liked her a lot you know?-.-‘ 

I replied and then I got another text from Niall.

‘Is it something bad? :/ hahahahah nah they’re actually fun to be around:P”

‘:/…ahahahah they’re weird.”

My phone beeped one more time…it was Harry again.

“I know and I’m a prick for flirting with her…but I have something to tell you... I shouldn’t be telling you this over text I know but I can’t hold this anymore. I like you Emma and you’ve been avoiding me all day and I was trying to tell you how I feel:/ but we’ll talk tomorrow… and please dont ignore me...Good night lovely ;)x”

I gasped and looked at my phone, petrified. Did Harry Styles just tell me he liked me???

“Oh my god” I said under my breath. Everything happened so fast.

*Louis P.O.V*

“What’s wrong?” I said looking at Emma’s expression, she looked at me with a smile and punched me in the arm.

“What the…?BLOODY HELL EMMA BE CAREFUL THE MAN IS DRIVING” I said smiling, her company made me feel good and I was happy to be in a 4 hour trip with a friend, a close friend. 

“Oh my god, I’m so sorry it’s just that…oh…my… god…I can’t believe this. A guy likes me…an actual guy. Okay?” She chuckled nervously looking at her phone and back at me.

I stopped the car dramatically and park it in a close McDonald. I stared at her in disbelief and then I gasped positioning myself so I was face to face with her, putting my hand on my chest. “OH MY GOOOOD”I said in a girly tone to make her laugh. “TELL ME MORE TELL ME MORE WAS IT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT?” I said singing.

“Grease, really?” She raised her eyebrow.

“It’s my favorite film!!!” I smiled and she laughed. “So who likes you?” I asked more serious this time.

“Uh…it’s…Harry” She blushed.

“Sooo he finally confessed” 

“What?” 

“Nothing, nothing…let me read the text”

I grabbed her phone and cleared my throat so I could make a Harry impression. ““I know and I’m a prick for flirting with her… I shouldn’t be telling you this over text I know but I can’t hold this anymore. I like you Emma and you’ve been avoiding me all day and I was trying to tell you how I feel but we’ll talk tomorrow and please don't ignore me… Good night lovely”

I looked at Emma and saw she was blushing and smiling. “What?” that’s all she said taking away her phone from my hands.

I was silent I didn't know what to say so I turned on the car and with that we drove off to my mother’s house.
