Hey, this is a new one-shot! :D
Looty looked up at Judd to see the results. "I should battle more," she muttered to herself. "I'm rusty anyways."
She looked up. Her team, Turqouise Tyrants, had won, 52% to 49%. She was surpised, since she had only inked a lousy 600p and only used her special once as well as didn't use her subs. I can't believe I won! she thought. I still don't think I deserve this win, though. I did nothing to help my team. She walked to the podium to collect the points and battle cash she had earned.
Looty POV
"Lazy ass!" "She did nothing!" "Useless excuse of a squid!" "Awful team member!" the salty losers of the battle mouthed. The team was called Blue Bolts, and was filled to the brim with the skilled snipers and high levelers. Not just salty, but rude too, I thought. They didn't know what they were talking or who they were talking about. I was the sister of one of the most skilled battlers in Inkopolis, Inky Squid. He was also known as Agent 3. He was the one who mentored me and taught me how to use all the weapons I had bought, including my Gold Dynamo Roller, which he had given to me. I was so rusty now, not having played a Turf War in ages. Usually I'd have inked every wall to swim up and splat opponents safely from above, and then swim in the turf I had covered by splatting them. If I did choose that strategy, I didn't choose my favourite weapon, the Gold Dynamo Roller. I was rusty as usual when I hadn't used a weapon in a while and ended up the lowest contributor on my team, only inking 600p. All my teammates had inked 800p or more. "You okay there young miss?" an Inkling male from the Blue Bolts asked. He had his Splattershot Pro in one hand, and the Bombs he had used in the other. "Yeah..." I mumbled.
Dynam POV
I glanced at the turqouise inkling girl in front of me. "Hey, don't listen to my teammates. They don't know what they are saying, stupid jerks. You did a great job out there," I told her. She reminded me of somebody I had seen around the Square before, those teal tentacles curled into those twirly pigtails, the green eyes, the pale skin. The gear also reminded me of that same girl. Grape Tee, tights and a skirt and the Cream Basics. Was she the girl I met that day?
