Don't Break Our Promises (A Haylor Fan Fiction)

Chapter 10

2 months later

These past 2 months, I keep writing songs for my next album. Sometimes I hang out with Selena, Abigail, Blake, and James. I always miss them. They had a really busy schedule. Well, me too. I need the feel to refresh my mind and they have a week off so I think why not. I invite them to my house.

Harry? Harry who? Harry Potter? Nah, I'm kidding. I know. Harry Styles. Well, we met during awards shows or some other events. But we usually just chat a little bit. I find it so awkward now to talk to him. We just don't know what to say to each other.

From best friend to stranger, turn in to friend, then back to stranger again. Like one of their songs, Same Mistakes which the lyrics is"Circles, we're going in circles. Dizzy's all it makes us. We know where it takes us, we've been before." And we even keep going in circles until now.

I think it's best if Harry and I remain as friend. I don't think develop any feelings for him will be the best decision for me. I know I'm the one who distance myself from him and probably it's my fault that our relationship turn to be awkward like this. He tried to contact me but I just need to stay away from him so my feeling toward him won't grew ever again. I heard rumours about him with some girls but I don't know whether it's a fact or not. I'm too busy working on my next album. 

There's this one song for my next album where I collaborate with Ed Sheeran and he's also one of Harry's friend. He is a really nice person and got some great ideas for the song. Now we want to hang out in some cafe down the street of my house. So I better go right now to meet him.

*At the cafe*

I arrived at the cafe and searching the ginger hair. When I found him, I started make my ways to our table and a waiter comes to us to take our order. Then we start discussing on songs of my album and music. Then suddenly, a boy come to our table and poke Ed. They start the-boy-hug and talking then the boy starts to sit on our table while I'm too busy writing some inspiration for my lyrics. The boy poke me and I felt annoyed but when I raise my head to snap at him, I realize who it is. Yup, it's Harry.

"Hi.", I said awkwardly.

"Hey Tay. How are you?"

"I'm great. Really great actually. How about you?"

"Me too."

Then there's awkward silence between us. Suddenly, Ed have to go somewhere because there's an emergency (but I know he's lying) and starts to leave us two alone. Ed Sheeran, ladies and gentlemen. What a really nice friend I got here. Harry keep staring at me and I feel my face hot. I bet my face is really red right now because of his staring.

"Are you going to ignore me like these past months?"

"I just... I just don't know what to say to you, Haz."

"Well, you distance yourself when I was trying to be close to you. You just shut me out and I don't even know why you did that. We only met at some events where and when you met me, we only made a small, a really small talk then you will run off somewhere. That's why I ask Ed to set us up to talk privately."

Ed, you are a really great and nice friend. I feel the need to hit you right now.

"I'm truly sorry."

"I accept your apology but I just really want to know why you did that. Please give me an explanation. I'm totally clueless."

"Look, can we start all over again? I don't think I can give an explanation to you because I don't even know why. I just feel the need to shut you out and I always scared you mad at me because I know it's my fault that we felt like strangers right now. That's why I always run away from you at those events. Gosh, I'm a mess right now."

I feel the tears on my eyes. Harry know I'm about to cry any minute but I hold the tears and starts taking deep breaths.

"Okay. If that's what you wants, we can start over. I miss you, Tay. I really miss you.", He sighs and hugs me.

"I miss you too, Harry. So much.", I hug him back. Tightly.

Hello. It's almost a year since my last update. Wow.

I just feel like no one read my story and I had writers block and don't have any idea. But when some of you ask for an update for this story, I felt really happy. Thank you for the support. I'm sorry it's been soooooo long since the last update and if this chapter is short.

I can't tell you exactly on when will I update this story again. I can't promise you guys anything. I apologize.

Also, this new layout confuse me lol
