It was just a normal afternoon dipper was getting ready for his evening performance.
Dipper: Mabel really had a stroke of genius with this thing but it sure is tiring.
Will: hey how's it going.
Dipper: Not bad
Will: listen I'm going to be gone for a bit. I just need to check up on something I should only be gone until tomorrow. You think you can handle things on this side?
Dipper: yeah sure, what are you doing?
Will: I'm checking in on the different realities, just routine inspection. I feel like Bill is up to something.
Dipper: good luck
Later
Mabel: Dipper you're on in five minutes.
Dipper: yeah sure
Mabel: also Pacifica called earlier and said she wanted to talk to you.
Dipper: ill get back to her but right now i need to focus.
Later after the show
Dipper was walking down the corridor to his room when he saw a hunched figure
Dipper: Hey who are you
The figure rose and turned to him. The figure was him, but something was off.
Bipper: I've waited a long time for this.
The impostor raised his hand and it began to glow blue.
'Oh that's bad.' dipper thought as he conjured a hasty shield, barely protecting himself from the torrent of flames. He looked carefully at his opponent. There, his eyes were dilated. Bill.
Dipper: What do you want bill
Bipper: Brother, I'm here to take from you what you took from he all those millennia ago. Freedom. You imprisoned me in that wasteland of a realm for so long. Fortunately this fool was stupid enough to free me. Now I'm more powerful than ever. And my only wish is for you to suffer the same fate.
None of this made any sense to dipper what was Bill talking about. Clearly he believed that Dipper was Will.
Dipper: I am not Will but i am plenty powerful enough to send you back to wherever you came from.
Bipper: what, you're pine tree, not my annoying brother.
Dipper: yes now its time for you to leave.
Bipper: NEVER!
Dipper sent a pulse of blue energy straight at the other dippers mind.
Bipper: WhAt DiD yOu Do.
The other dipper collapsed on the floor
Other dipper: where am I
Reverse dipper: don't worry you're safe for now. Why don't you come and get some rest.
