James' point of view

From when I was born I was put in to care because my mom and dad didn't want a boy and also because they were unfit to be parents anyway. So ye I bet your thinking I dodged a huge bullet but no as a kid I moved foster homes around 5 times because I had huge anger problems and I would get into fights with all the kids. Butt when I was about 11 I settled in to my 5th home and I managed to live there for just over 2 years with out any major incidents. I even made a few friends in the home because I was the oldest kid in the home and all the younger kids looked up to me. Then a few weeks after my 13th birthday my social worker quit and I got a new social worker who was a bitch to say the least. She hooked me up with the worst foster parents ever. They would beat me and give me marks a bruises but would she actually care? Nope of course not she never did so I did what I never thought I would never do and ran away. I could have gone to the home but she would have caught me and sent me back to the abusive Valentines so I took my stuff and decided to live in the streets. After living on the streets for 3 days with no food or water I knew 2 things were absolutely true. The first one being that my social worker and supposed foster parents were not even bothered I was gone and the second one being that if I didn't get water soon I was going to die of thirst.

as promised the first chapter on the same day as the intro until the next chapter stay strong and keep reading.
